22 ஏழையாயிருக்கிறான் என்று ஏழையைக் கொள்ளையிடாதே; சிறுமையானவனை நியாயஸ்தலத்தில் உபத்திரவப்படுத்தாதே. Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:

23 கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்காக வழக்காடி, அவர்களைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிறவர்களுடைய பிராணனைக் கொள்ளையிடுவார். For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.

22 Aelaiyaayirukkiraan entu aelaiyaik kollaiyidaathae; siraுmaiyaanavanai niyaayasthalaththil upaththiravappaduththaathae. Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:

23 Karththar avarkalukkaaka valakkaati, avarkalaik kollaiyidukiravarkalutaiya piraananaik kollaiyiduvaar. For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
