Proverbs 28 - DBY (Oriya)

1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth; but the righteous are bold as a lion.ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋମାନେ ସବୁକୁ ଭୟ କରନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନେ ସିଂହପରି ଆତ୍ମନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।

2 By the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; but by a man of understanding [and] of knowledge, [its] stability is prolonged.ଯଦି ଏକ ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନେ କାହାକୁ ମାନିବେ ନାହିଁ, ତବେେ ସେ ଦେଶର ଅଧିକ ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୁଅନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନେେ ଖୁବ୍ କମ୍ ସମୟ ପାଇଁ ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଦେଶର ଧାର୍ମିକ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ଥିଲେ, ସେ ଅଧିକ ଦିନ ଶାସନ କରିବେ।

3 A poor man who oppresseth the helpless is a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.ଯଦି ଶାସକ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୋଷଷ କରନ୍ତି, ସହେି ରାଜା ପ୍ଲାବନକାରୀ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ପରି।

4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked; but such as keep the law contend with them.ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ତ୍ଯାଗକାରୀମାନେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ଆଜ୍ଞାପାଳିକା ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବିରୋଧ କରନ୍ତି।

5 Evil men understand not judgment; but they that seek Jehovah understand everything.ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକମାନେ ନ୍ଯାଯ ବୁଝନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣକାରୀମାନେ ଏହି ବିଷଯକୁ ଭଲ ରେ ବୁଝନ୍ତି।

6 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse, double in ways, though he be rich.ଜଣେ ଗରିବ ଲୋକ ୟିଏ ଦୋଷହୀନ ଭାବରେ ଜୀବନୟାପନ କରେ, ସେ ସହେି ଧନୀ ଲୋକଠାରୁ ଉତ୍ତମ ଯାହାର ପଥ କୁପଥଗାମୀ ହାଇେଛି।

7 Whoso observeth the law is a son that hath understanding; but he that is a companion of profligates bringeth shame to his father.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ମାନେ, ସେ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ପୁତ୍ର ପୁଣି ଯେ ଭୋକିଲାମାନଙ୍କର ସଙ୍ଗୀ ହୁଏ, ସେ ଆପଣା ପିତାକୁ ଲଜ୍ଜ୍ଯା ଦିଏ।

8 He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance gathereth it for him that is gracious to the poor.ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସୁଧ ଓ ବୁଦ୍ଧିଦ୍ବାରା ଆପଣା ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ଦୀନହୀନ ପାଇଁ ଦୟା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାହା ସଞ୍ଚଯ କରନ୍ତି।

9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ କିଛି ଶିକ୍ଷା ଶୁଣିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଆପଣା କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବନ୍ଦ କରିଦିଏ, ତାହାର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ହିଁ ଘୃଣାର ବିଷଯ ହୁଏ।

10 Whoso causeth the upright to go astray in an evil way, shall himself fall into his own pit; but the perfect shall inherit good.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ସରଳ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦ ପଥରେ ୟିବାକୁ ଭୁଲାଏ। ସେ ନିଜେ ଗାତ ରେ ପଡ଼ିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ନିରୀହ ଲୋକମାନେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଜିନିଷର ଅଧିକାରୀ ହବେେ।

11 A rich man is wise in his own eyes; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.ଧନବାନ ଆପଣା ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନ। ମାତ୍ର ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ଦୀନହୀନ ଲୋକ ତାହାର ପରିଚଯ ନିଏ।

12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, men conceal themselves.ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ଜଯ କଲେ ମହା ଗୌରବ ହୁଏ। ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ଉନ୍ନତି ହେଲେ, ଲୋକେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଲୁଚାନ୍ତି।

13 He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall obtain mercy.ଯେ ଆପଣା ଅଧର୍ମ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରେ, ସେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ପାଏ ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ତାହା ସ୍ବୀକାର କରି ତାକୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରେ, ସେ ଦୟା ପାଇବ।

14 Happy is the man that feareth always; but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into evil.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ସର୍ବଦା ଭୟ ରେଖ, ସେ ଧନ୍ଯ, ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ଆପଣା ମନକୁ କଠିନ କରେ, ସେ ଆପଦ ରେ ପଡ଼ିବ।

15 A roaring lion, and a ranging bear, is a wicked ruler over a poor people.ଯମେନ୍ତ ଗର୍ଜନକାରୀ ସିଂହ ଓ ଭ୍ରମଣକାରୀ ଭଲ୍ଲୁକ, ଠିକ୍ ସହେିପରି ଦୀନହୀନ ପ୍ରଜାଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ଅଟନ୍ତି।

16 The prince void of intelligence is also a great oppressor: he that hateth covetousness shall prolong [his] days.ଯେଉଁ ଅଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ ବୁଦ୍ଧିହୀନ, ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆଜି ଉପଦ୍ରବୀ ହୁଏ। ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ଲୋଭକୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ, ସେ ଆପଣା ଦିନ ବଢ଼ାଇବ।

17 A man laden with the blood of [any] person, fleeth to the pit: let no man stay him.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ କୌଣସି ଲୋକର ରକ୍ତ ରେ ଭାରଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହୁଏ, ସେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ପଳାଇବ। ତାକୁ କହେି ଅଟକାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।

18 Whoso walketh in integrity shall be saved; but he that is perverted in [his] double ways, shall fall in one [of them].ସହେି ଜଣେ ୟିଏ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଶ ଭାବରେ ଜୀବନ ୟାପନ କରେ, ସେ ନଜକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଜଣେ ୟିଏ ତା'ର ନଜ ପଥକୁ ବିପଥରେ ନିଏ ସେ ଅକସ୍ମାତ ପଡ଼ିୟିବ।

19 He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread; but he that followeth the worthless shall have poverty enough.ଆପଣା ଭୂମିକୁ ଯେ ଚଷେ, ସେ ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ଆହାର ପାଇବ। ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଅସାର ଲୋକର ଅନୁଗାମୀ ହବେ, ତାହାର ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ଦରିଦ୍ରଦା ପାଇବ।

20 A faithful man aboundeth with blessings; but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ରେ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଣୁ ହବେ। ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ଧନବାନ ହବୋକୁ ଅତି ଉଦ୍ଯମ କରେ, ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହବେ।

21 To have respect of persons is not good; but for a piece of bread will a man transgress.ଜଣେ ବିଚାରକ ଜଣଙ୍କର ମୁହଁ ଦେଖି ବିଚାର କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ, କିଅବା ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନଇେ ବିଚାର କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ।

22 He that hath an evil eye hasteth after wealth, and knoweth not that poverty shall come upon him.କୃପଣ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଧନୀ ହବୋକୁ ବ୍ଯଗ୍ର। ମାତ୍ର ତାହାକୁ ଦାରିଦ୍ର୍ଯ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ ବୋଲି ସେ ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ।

23 He that rebuketh a man shall afterwards find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.ମୁହଁ ରେ ଚାଟୁବାକ୍ଯ କହିବା ଲୋକ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମନୁଷ୍ଯକୁ ଅନୁୟୋଗ କରିବା ଲୋକ ଶଷେ ରେ ଅଧିକ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପାଏ।

24 Whoso robbeth his father and his mother, and saith, It is no transgression, the same is the companion of a destroyer.ଯେ ଆପଣା ମାତା କି ପିତା ଧନ ଅପହରଣ କରି କ ହେ, ଏଥି ରେ କିଛି ଅଧର୍ମ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ସଂହାରକର ସଙ୍ଗୀ ଅଟେ।

25 He that is puffed up in soul exciteth contention; but he that relieth upon Jehovah shall be made fat.ଜଣେ ଲୋଭି ମନୁଷ୍ଯ କଳହ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେି ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ୟିଏ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରେଖ ସେ ଉନ୍ନତି କରିବ।

26 He that confideth in his own heart is a fool; but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ନିଜ ବଳ ଉପ ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରେଖ ସେ ମୂର୍ଖ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଯିଏ ଜ୍ଞାନ ରେ ଚାଲେ, ବିପର୍ୟ୍ଯଯରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବ।

27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; but he that withdraweth his eyes shall have many a curse.ଯେ ଦରିଦ୍ରକୁ ଦାନ କରେ, ତାର ଅଭାବ ହବେ ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ଆପଣା ଆଖି ବନ୍ଦ କରେ, ସେ ଅନକେ ଅଭିଶାପ ପାଇବ।

28 When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous increase.ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ଉନ୍ନୀତ ହେଲେ, ଲୋକେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲୁଚାନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନେେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେଲେ, ଧାର୍ମିକଗଣ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଣୁ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
