Proverbs 16 - ASV (Oriya)

1 The plans of the heart belong to man; But the answer of the tongue is from Jehovah.ମନୁଷ୍ଯ କଳ୍ପନା କରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ଆ ସେ।

2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; But Jehovah weigheth the spirits.ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ଭାବେ ସେ ଯାହା କହୁଛି, ତାହା ଠିକ୍। କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି।

3 Commit thy works unto Jehovah, And thy purposes shall be established.ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସମର୍ପଣ କର। ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସବୁ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ରେ ଜଯୟୁକ୍ତ ହବେ।

4 Jehovah hath made everything for its own end; Yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବିଷଯକୁ ତହିଁର ନିଜ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ସାଧନ ନିମନ୍ତେ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିଚାର ରେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ବିନାଶ ହବେେ।

5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to Jehovah: `Though' hand `join' in hand, he shall not be unpunished.ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସହେିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଭାବନ୍ତି ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଶ୍ ରେଷ୍ଠତର। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିପରି ଗର୍ବୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଃସନ୍ଦହେ ରେ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ କରିବେ।

6 By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for; And by the fear of Jehovah men depart from evil.ଦୟା ଓ ସତ୍ଯତା ରେ ପାପର ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ ହୁଏ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବିଷଯକ ଭୟ ଦ୍ବାରା ମନୁଷ୍ଯମାନେ କୁକ୍ରିଯା ତ୍ଯାଗ କରନ୍ତି।

7 When a man's ways please Jehovah, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.ଯଦି ମଣିଷର ରୀତି କଥାଧାରା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ତୁଷ୍ଟି କରେ, ସେ ତା'ର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଶାନ୍ତି ରେ ରହିବା ପାଇଁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି।

8 Better is a little, with righteousness, Than great revenues with injustice.ଅନ୍ଯାଯ ରେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ରୋଜଗାର, ଧାର୍ମିକତା ରେ ଅଳ୍ପ ରୋଜଗାର ହିଁ ଭଲ ଅଟେ।

9 A man's heart deviseth his way; But Jehovah directeth his steps.ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ମନ ଆପଣାର ପଥ ବିଷଯ ରେ କଳ୍ପନା କରେ, ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାର ଚାଲିବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ କରନ୍ତି।

10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king; His mouth shall not transgress in judgment.ଯେତବେେଳେ ରାଜା ଯାହା କହନ୍ତି ତାହା ନିଯମ ହାଇୟୋଏ। ତେଣୁ ତା'ର ବିଚାର ସ୍ବଚ୍ଛ ହବୋ ଉଚିତ୍।

11 A just balance and scales are Jehovah's; All the weights of the bag are his work.ଓଜନ ଓ ଦଣ୍ଡି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଅଟେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାହା ଓଜନ ପାଇଁ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରିବାକୁ ବଟକରାସବୁ ତିଆରି କଲେ।

12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness; For the throne is established by righteousness.କୁକର୍ମ କରିବା ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଘୃଣାର ବିଷଯ, ଯେ ହତେୁ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ରେ ସିଂହାସନ ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତ ହୁଏ।

13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings; And they love him that speaketh right.ଧର୍ମୟୁକ୍ତ କଥା ରାଜାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ତୁଷ୍ଟିକର। ସମାନେେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ କରନ୍ତି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପ୍ ରମେ କରନ୍ତି।

14 The wrath of a king is `as' messengers of death; But a wise man will pacify it.ରାଜାଙ୍କର କୋରଧ ମୃତ୍ଯୁର ଦୂତପରି। ମାତ୍ର ଜ୍ଞାନୀଲୋକ ତାହା ଶାନ୍ତ କରେ।

15 In the light of the king's countenance is life; And his favor is as a cloud of the latter rain.ରାଜାର ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ବଦନ ରେ ଜୀବନ ଥାଏ। ତାଙ୍କର ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଶଷେ ବର୍ଷାର ମେଘସ୍ବରୂପ।

16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! Yea, to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver.ସୁନା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଜ୍ଞାନଲାଭ କରିବା ଉତ୍ତମ। ସୁବିବଚେନା ପାଇବା ରୂପାଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ମୂଲ୍ଯବାନ।

17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: He that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଚଳଣି ଅଧର୍ମର ବହୁତ ଦୂର ରେ। ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ପଥ ଜଗି ଚାଲେ, ସେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣ ରକ୍ଷା କରେ।

18 Pride `goeth' before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.ଅହଙ୍କାର ସର୍ବନାଶର ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଆ ସେ ଏବଂ ଅହଙ୍କାରୀ ପ୍ରକୃତି ପତନର ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଆ ସେ।

19 Better it is to be of a lowly spirit with the poor, Than to divide the spoil with the proud.ଅହଙ୍କାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ଭାଗ କରିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଦରିଦ୍ରତାର ସହିତ ନମ୍ର ହବୋ ଭଲ।

20 He that giveth heed unto the word shall find good; And whoso trusteth in Jehovah, happy is he.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ରେ ମନୋୟୋଗ କରେ, ସେ ସାଫଲ୍ଯ ଅର୍ଜନ କରେ। ପୁଣି ସହେି ଲୋକ ଧନ୍ଯ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରେ।

21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent; And the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.କିଏ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ବା ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ, ଲୋକମାନେ ଜାଣିପାରିବେ। ବାକ୍ଯର ମିଷ୍ଟତା ପାଣ୍ଡିତ୍ଯ ବଢ଼ାଏ।

22 Understanding is a well-spring of life unto him that hath it; But the correction of fools is `their' folly.ସଦବୁଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଥିବା ଲୋକ ଜୀବନର ଝର ସ୍ବରୂପ ଅଟେ। ମାତ୍ର ଅଜ୍ଞାନତା ଅଜ୍ଞାନମାନଙ୍କର ଶାସ୍ତି।

23 The heart of the wise instructeth his mouth, And addeth learning to his lips.ଜ୍ଞାନବାନର ହୃଦଯ ଆପଣା ମୁଖକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଏ। ପୁଣି ତା'ର ବାକ୍ଯ ପାଣ୍ଡିତ୍ଯ ବଢ଼ାଏ।

24 Pleasant words are `as' a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.ଦୟାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଥା ମହୁପରି ଅଟେ। ଏହାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ସହଜ ଏବଂ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଉତ୍ତମ।

25 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, But the end thereof are the ways of death.ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଯେଉଁ ପଥ ସରଳ ଦିଶେ କିନ୍ତୁ ତାହା ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ରେ ହିଁ ଶଷେ ହୁଏ।

26 The appetite of the laboring man laboreth for him; For his mouth urgeth him `thereto'.ପରିଶ୍ରମକାତର କ୍ଷୁଧା ତାକୁ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କରେ। ତା'ର ଭୋକିଲା ପାଟି କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ ପାଇଁ ଅଭିୟାନ କରନ୍ତି।

27 A worthless man deviseth mischief; And in his lips there is as a scorching fire.ପାପାଧାମ ଲୋକ ଅନିଷ୍ଟ କଳ୍ପନା କରେ। ଏବଂ ତାହାର ବାକ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଅଗ୍ନିପରି ଜଳେ।

28 A perverse man scattereth abroad strife; And a whisperer separateth chief friends.କୁଟିଳ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ବିବାଦ ବୁଣେ। କାନକୁହା ଲୋକମାନେ ବନ୍ଧୁତ୍ବ ନଷ୍ଟ କରନ୍ତି।

29 A man of violence enticeth his neighbor, And leadeth him in a way that is not good.ଅତ୍ଯାଚାରୀ ଆପଣା ମିତ୍ରଗଣକୁ ଭୁଲିୟାଏ। ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀକୁ କୁପଥରେ କଢ଼ାଇ ନିଏ।

30 He that shutteth his eyes, `it is' to devise perverse things: He that compresseth his lips bringeth evil to pass.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ଆଖି ମିଞ୍ଜି ମିଞ୍ଜି କରେ, ସେ କୁଟିଳ ବିଷଯ କଳ୍ପନା କରେ, ଏବଂ ଯେ ଆପଣା ଓଷ୍ଠ ଜାବୁଡ଼ି ଧ ରେ, ମନ୍ଦକର୍ମ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରୁଥାଏ।

31 The hoary head is a crown of glory; It shall be found in the way of righteousness.ପାଚିଲା କେଶ ଶାେଭାଜନକ ମୁକୁଟ। ତାହା ଧର୍ମ ପଥରେ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୁଏ।

32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; And he that ruleth his spirit, than he that taketh a city.ଯେ କୋରଧ ରେ ଧୀର, ସେ ବୀର ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶ୍ ରେଷ୍ଠ। ପୁଣି ଯେ ଆପଣା ଆତ୍ମା ଉପ ରେ କତ୍ତୃର୍ତ୍ବ କରେ, ସେ ନଗର ବିଜଯୀଠାରୁ ଭଲ।

33 The lot is cast into the lap; But the whole disposing thereof is of Jehovah.ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ପାଇଁ ଗୁଳିବାଣ୍ଟ ପଡ଼େ, କିନ୍ତୁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆ ସେ।
