ଯେତବେେଳେ ୟିଲ୍ଗହ ଦେଖିଲେ ତାଙ୍କର କନ୍ଯା ଯେ କି ପ୍ରଥମେ ଗୃହରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର ହାଇେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦଖାେ ଦେଲେ। ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ନିଜର ପିନ୍ଧାବସ୍ତ୍ର ଚିରି ଦେଲେ ଓ କହିଲେ, ହେ ମାରେ କନ୍ଯା! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିଦଲେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଃଖର କାରଣ ହେଲ, କାରଣ ମୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଆପଣା ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖ ରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଛି ଏବଂ ମୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ଫରୋଇ ନଇେପାରିବି ନାହିଁ।

his clothes, בְּגָדָ֗יו beged beh-ɡED
and said, וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
Alas, אֲהָ֤הּ ʾăhāh uh-HA
my daughter! בִּתִּי֙ bat baht
thou hast brought very הַכְרֵ֣עַ kāraʿ ka-RA
me low, הִכְרַעְתִּ֔נִי kāraʿ ka-RA
and thou וְאַ֖תְּ ʾattâ ah-TA
art הָיִ֣יתְ hāyâ ha-YA
one of them that trouble בְּעֹֽכְרָ֑י ʿākar ah-HAHR
me: for I וְאָֽנֹכִ֗י ʾānōkî ah-noh-HEE
have opened פָּצִ֤יתִי pāṣâ pa-TSA
my mouth פִי֙ pe peh
unto אֶל ʾēl ale
the Lord, יְהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
וְלֹ֥א lōʾ loh
and I cannot אוּכַ֖ל yākōl ya-HOLE
go back. לָשֽׁוּב׃ šûb shoov
