1 It happened after this, that Absalom the son of David had a beautiful sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her.ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଏକ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଥିଲେ, ଯାହାର ନାମ ଥିଲା ଅବଶାଲୋମ। ଅବଶା ଲୋମର ଏକ ଭଉଣୀ ଥିଲା, ଯାହାର ନାମ ଥିଲା ତାମର। ତାମର ଭାରୀ ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ଦରୀ ଥିଲା। ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଥିଲା ଅମ୍ମାନେ।

2 Amnon was so vexed that he fell sick because of his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and it seemed hard to Amnon to do anything to her.ଅମ୍ମାନେ ନିଜର ସାବତ ଭଉଣୀ ତାମରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭଲପାଇ ବସିଲା ଓ ତା' ପ୍ ରମେ ରେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜ୍ବର ଆସିଗଲା। ତାମର ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଢା ଥିଲା। ଅମ୍ମାନେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଗ୍ଭହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁଥିଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ତା' ସହିତ ଏକାକି ରହିବା ପାଇଁ ଅବକାଶ ପାଇଲା ନାହିଁ।

3 But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah, David's brother; and Jonadab was a very subtle man.ଅମ୍ମାନଙ୍କେର ଯୋନାଦବ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଚତକ୍ସ୍ଟର ବନ୍ଧକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଥିଲା, ୟିଏକି ଶିମିଯର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର। ଶିମିଯ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଭାଇ ଥିଲା।

4 He said to him, Why, son of the king, are you thus lean from day to day? Won't you tell me? Amnon said to him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister.ସେ ଅମ୍ମାନେକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଗ୍ଭରିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଦିନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦିନ ଏପରି କ୍ଷୀଣ ହାଇେ ଯାଉଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ କ'ଣ ତାହା କହିବ ନାହିଁ?

5 Jonadab said to him, Lay you down on your bed, and feign yourself sick: and when your father comes to see you, tell him, Please let my sister Tamar come and give me bread to eat, and dress the food in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it from her hand.ଯୋନାଦବ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୟ୍ଯା ରେ ପଡି ରୋଗ ରେ ବାହାନା କର। ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପିତା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଲେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କକ୍ସ୍ଟହ, 'ଦୟାକରି ମାରେଭଉଣୀ ତାମରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମାେ ପାଖକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସି ମାେତେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଦବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟମତି ଦିଅନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ସେ ମାେ ଆଗ ରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ରାନ୍ଧିବ, ତହିଁରେ ମୁ ତାହା ଦେଖି ତାହା ହାତରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭୋଜନ କରିବି।'

6 So Amnon lay down, and feigned himself sick: and when the king was come to see him, Amnon said to the king, Please let her sister Tamar come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat from her hand.ରାଜା ଦେଖିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିବା ସମୟରେ ଅମ୍ମାନେ ରୋଗର ବାହାନା କରି ପଡି ରହିଲା। ଅମ୍ମାନେ କହିଲା, ମାେ ଭଉଣୀ ତାମରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦିଅନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏବଂ ସେ ମାେ ଆଗ ରେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଟି ପିଠା କରିବ, ତା'ପରେ ମୁ ସଗେକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ତା' ହାତରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଖାଇବି।

7 Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go now to your brother Amnon's house, and dress him food.ତବେେ ଦାଉଦ ତାମରର ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ପଠାଇ କହିଲେ, ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ଭାଇ ଅମ୍ମାନରେ ଘରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଟିକିଏ ୟାଇ ତାହାର ଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ କିଛି ରାନ୍ଧି ଦିଅ।

8 So Tamar went to her brother Amnon's house; and he was laid down. She took dough, and kneaded it, and made cakes in his sight, and did bake the cakes.ଯେତବେେଳେ ତାମର ଆପଣା ଭାଇ ଅମ୍ମାନରେ ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲା, ସେତବେେଳେ ସେ ଶୟ୍ଯା ରେ ଥିଲା। ତେଣୁ ତାମର ଚକଟା ମଇଦା ନଇେ ଦଳି ଅମ୍ମାନେ ଦେଖକ୍ସ୍ଟଥିବା ବେଳେ ପିଠା ପ୍ରସ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟତ କରି ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାକ କଲା।

9 She took the pan, and poured them out before him; but he refused to eat. Amnon said, Have out all men from me. They went out every man from him.ସେ କରଇରେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପିଠାଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ କାଢିନଇେ ତା' ଆଗ ରେ ରଖିଲା। ଏବଂ ସେ ଖାଇବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମନାକଲା ଏବଂ ଅମ୍ମାନେ କହିଲା, ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠଇେ ଦିଅ। ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତେ କଠୋରୀରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାରି ଗଲେ।

10 Amnon said to Tamar, Bring the food into the chamber, that I may eat from your hand. Tamar took the cakes which she had made, and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother.ତା'ପରେ ଅମ୍ମାନେ ତାମରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲା, ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ଶଯନ ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣ, ମୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ହାତରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାହା ଭୋଜନ କରିବି।

11 When she had brought them near to him to eat, he took hold of her, and said to her, Come, lie with me, my sister.ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଖକ୍ସ୍ଟଆଇବା ପାଇଁ ତାହା ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନିଅନ୍ତେ ସେ ତାମରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧରି କହିଲା, ଆସ ମାରେ ଭଉଣୀ ମାେ ପାଖ ରେ ଶଯନ କର।

12 She answered him, No, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel. Don't you do this folly.ସେଥି ରେ ସେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ, ନା, ନା, ଭାଇ ମାେତେ ଏହା କରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ ନକର, କାରଣ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମଧିଅରେ ଏପରି କର୍ମ ନିଷଧେ। ଏହିପରି ଭୟଙ୍କର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରନାହିଁ।

13 I, where shall I carry my shame? and as for you, you will be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, please speak to the king; for he will not withhold me from you.ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହା କର, ମୁ ଲଜ୍ଜାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କବେେ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତ ହାଇେ ପାରିବି ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜଣେ ସାଧାରଣ ଦୋଷୀ ରୂପେ ବିବଚେିତ ହବେ। ଏଣୁ ମୁ ବିନଯ କରୁଅଛି, ରାଜାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କର, ସେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ମାେତେ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ଅସମ୍ମତ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ।

14 However he would not listen to her voice; but being stronger than she, he forced her, and lay with her.ତଥାପି ଅମ୍ ନୋନ ତାହାର କଥା ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣିଲା ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତା'ଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବଳବାନ୍ ହବୋରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବଳତ୍କାର କରି ତା' ସଙ୍ଗେ ଶଯନ କଲା।

15 Then Amnon hated her with exceeding great hatred; for the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love with which he had loved her. Amnon said to her, Arise, be gone.ତା'ପରେ ଅମ୍ମାନେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅତି ଘୃଣା କଲା, ସେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେପରି ପ୍ ରମେ କରିଥିଲା, ତା' ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଘୃଣା କଲା। ଏଣୁ ଅମ୍ ନୋନ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲା, ଉଠ ଏଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗ୍ଭଲିୟାଅ।

16 She said to him, Not so, because this great wrong in putting me forth is [worse] than the other that you did to me. But he would not listen to her.ସେଥି ରେ ସେ କହିଲା, ମାେତେ ଏହିପରି ଅବସ୍ଥା ରେ ଦୂ ରଇେ ଦିଅନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ' ପ୍ରତି ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଯାହା କଲ, ତା'ଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହା ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକ ମନ୍ଦ ହବେ।

17 Then he called his servant who ministered to him, and said, Put now this woman out from me, and bolt the door after her.ତା'ପରେ ଅମ୍ମାନେ ତା'ର ଦାସକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଡାକି କହିଲା, ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମାେ ପାଖରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରିଦିଅ, ଏବଂ କବାଟ ବନ୍ଦ କରିଦିଅ।

18 She had a garment of various colors on her; for with such robes were the king's daughters who were virgins dressed. Then his servant brought her out, and bolted the door after her.ତେଣୁ ଅମ୍ ନୋନଙ୍କର ଦାସ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଘରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରି କଟାବ ବନ୍ଦ କରି ଦଲୋ।

19 Tamar put ashes on her head, and tore her garment of various colors that was on her; and she laid her hand on her head, and went her way, crying aloud as she went.ଏଥି ରେ ଅମ୍ମାନରେ ଦାସ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହା ରେ ଆଣି ତାହା ପେଛ ପେଛ କବାଟ ଦଇଦେବୋରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସେ ନିଜର ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତ ରେ ଭସ୍ମ ଦଇେ ତାହା ଦହରେ ଦୀର୍ଘ୍ଯ ଅଙ୍ଗ ରଖାେ ଚିରି ଦଲୋ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତ ରେ ହାତ ଦଇେ କାନ୍ଦି କାନ୍ଦି ସଠାେରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲା।

20 Absalom her brother said to her, Has Amnon your brother been with you? but now hold your peace, my sister: he is your brother; don't take this thing to heart. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house.ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ଅମ୍ ନୋନ ଅଛି କି? ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଘାତ କଲା କି? ଭଉଣୀ, ଏବେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟନି ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ, ଏ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଚିନ୍ତା କରି ବ୍ଯତିବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅ ନାହିଁ। ଏହାପରେ ସେ ନିଜର ସହୋଦର ଅବଶା ଲୋମର ଗୃହ ରେ ରହିଲା। ଏବଂ ସେ କିଛି କହିଲା ନାହିଁ। ସେ ସଠାେରେ ବାସ କଲା ଓ ଏକାକି ଥିଲା ଓ ଉଦାସ ଥିଲା।

21 But when king David heard of all these things, he was very angry.ମାତ୍ର ରାଜା ଦାଉଦ ଏହିସବୁ କଥା ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ କ୍ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହେଲ।

22 Absalom spoke to Amnon neither good nor bad; for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.ଅବଶାଲୋମ ଅମ୍ମାନେକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭଲ କି ମନ୍ଦ କିଛି କହିଲା ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ତାହାର ଭଉଣୀ ତାମରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବଳାତ୍କାର କରିବାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅବଶା ଲୋମ ଅମ୍ ନୋନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଘୃଣା କଲା।

23 It happened after two full years, that Absalom had sheep-shearers in Baal Hazor, which is beside Ephraim: and Absalom invited all the king's sons.ଏହାପରେ ସଐୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ ସୀମା ରେ ବାଲ୍ ହାତସୋର ରେ ଅବଶାଲୋମର ମଷେ ଲୋମ ଛଦନେ କଲା ଏବଂ ଅବଶା ଲୋମ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କଲା।

24 Absalom came to the king, and said, See now, your servant has sheep-shearers; let the king, I pray you, and his servants go with your servant.ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ଅବଶା ଲୋମ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଲା ଓ କହିଲା, ଦେଖନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମାରେ ମଷଗେକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକର ଲୋମ ଛଦନେ ହାଇେଛି, ଏଣୁ ମହାରାଜ ଓ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଦାସମାନେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଏହି ଦାସ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ଆସନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ।

25 The king said to Absalom, No, my son, let us not all go, lest we be burdensome to you. He pressed him: however he would not go, but blessed him.ଏଥି ରେ ରାଜା ଅବଶାଲୋମକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ନାହିଁ ମାରେପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ନ ଯାଉ, ଗଲେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଭାରସ୍ବରୂପ ହବେକ୍ସ୍ଟ।

26 Then said Absalom, If not, please let my brother Amnon go with us. The king said to him, Why should he go with you?ଏଥି ରେ ଅବଶା ଲୋମ କହିଲା, ଯଦି ଆପଣ ଆସକ୍ସ୍ଟନାହାନ୍ତି, ତବେେ ମାରେ ଭାଇ ଅମ୍ମାନେକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆମ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ୟିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟମତି ଦିଅନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ।

27 But Absalom pressed him, and he let Amnon and all the king's sons go with him.ମାତ୍ର ଅବଶାଲୋମ ବଳାଇବାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରାଜା ଅମ୍ ନୋନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓ ସବୁ ରାଜ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ପଠାଇଲେ।

28 Absalom commanded his servants, saying, Mark you now, when Amnon's heart is merry with wine; and when I tell you, Smite Amnon, then kill him; don't be afraid; haven't I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant.ଏହାପରେ ଅବଶା ଲୋମ ନିଜର ସବେକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ ଓ କହିଲେ, ଅମ୍ ନୋନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜଗିଥାଅ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ ଟିକେ ମାତାଲ ହବେ, ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଉତ୍ତମ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଭବ କରିବ, ମାେ ଆଦେଶ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟକରଣ କରି ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କର। ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ, ମୁ କ'ଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇନୋହିଁ, ବଳବାନ୍ ଏବଂ ସାହସି ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅ।

29 The servants of Absalom did to Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king's sons arose, and every man got him up on his mule, and fled.ଅବଶାଲୋମର ଲୋକମାନେ ଗଲେ ଓ ଅବଶା ଲୋମର ଆଜ୍ଞାନକ୍ସ୍ଟସା ରେ ଅମ୍ ନୋନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ରାଜପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଉଠି ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଖଚର ଉପରେ ଚଢି ପଳାଇଲେ।

30 It happened, while they were in the way, that the news came to David, saying, Absalom has slain all the king's sons, and there is not one of them left.ତଥାପି ସମାନେେ ବାଟରେ ଥିଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ନିକଟରେ ସମ୍ବାଦ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା ଯେ, ଅବଶାଲୋମ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିଅଛି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜଣେ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ନାହିଁ।

31 Then the king arose, and tore his garments, and lay on the earth; and all his servants stood by with their clothes torn.ତହିଁରେ ରାଜା ଉଠି ଆପଣା ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଚିରି ଭୂମିରେ ଲମ୍ବ ହାଇେ ପଡିଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସ ସମସ୍ତେ ନିଜ ନିଜର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଚିରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲ।

32 Jonadab, the son of Shimeah, David's brother, answered, Don't let my lord suppose that they have killed all the young men the king's sons; for Amnon only is dead; for by the appointment of Absalom this has been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.ସେତବେେଳେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଭାଇ ଶିମିଯର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଯୋନାଦବ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲା ଓ କହିଲା, ନା! ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରାୟାଇ ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ଅମ୍ ନୋନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରାଗଲା। ଅମ୍ ନୋନ ତାମରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧର୍ଷଣ କରିବା ଦିନଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅବଶା ଲୋମ ଏହି ଷଡୟନ୍ତ୍ର କରି ଆସକ୍ସ୍ଟଅଛି।

33 Now therefore don't let my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king's sons are dead; for Amnon only is dead.ଏଣୁ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ମରିଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ମହାରାଜ ମନ ରେ ନ ଘନନ୍େତକ୍ସ୍ଟ। କାରଣ କବଳେ ଅମ୍ ନୋନ ମରିଛି।

34 But Absalom fled. The young man who kept the watch lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came much people by the way of the hill-side behind him.ଏଥି ମଧିଅରେ ଅବଶା ଲୋମ ପଳାଯନ କରିଥିଲା।

35 Jonadab said to the king, Behold, the king's sons are come: as your servant said, so it is.ତେଣୁ ଯୋନାଦବ, ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲା, ଦେଖ ମୁ ଠିକ୍ କହକ୍ସ୍ଟଛି, ଦେଖ, ରାଜାଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଆସକ୍ସ୍ଟଛନ୍ତି।

36 It happened, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that behold, the king's sons came, and lifted up their voice, and wept: and the king also and all his servants wept very sore.ଏହା କହି ସାରିବାପରେ ରାଜକକ୍ସ୍ଟମାରଗଣ ଆସି ସଠାେରେ ପହଁଞ୍ଚି ଗଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରୁଥିଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ କାନ୍ଦିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଲାଗିଲେ ଓ ଚିତ୍କାର କରି କାନ୍ଦିଲେ।

37 But Absalom fled, and went to Talmai the son of Ammihur, king of Geshur. [David] mourned for his son every day.ତାଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଅମ୍ମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ଦାଉଦ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଦିନ ଶାେକ କଲେ।

38 So Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three years.ଏହାପରେ ଅବଶା ଲୋମ ଗଶୂରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଳାଇ ସଠାେରେ ତିନିବର୍ଷ ଧରି ରହିଲା।

39 [the soul of] king David longed to go forth to Absalom: for he was comforted concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead.ଦାଉଦ ତାଙ୍କର ମନ ଅବଶାଲୋମ ଆଡେ ଗଲାପରେ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଣ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେଲା କାରଣ ସେ ଅମ୍ ନୋନର ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯ ଜାଣି ସାନ୍ତ୍ବନା ପ୍ରାଲ୍ଗ ହେଲ।
