39 மோசே இந்த வார்த்தைகளை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் அனைவரோடும் சொன்னபோது, ஜனங்கள் மிகவும் துக்கித்தார்கள். And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.

40 அதிகாலமே அவர்கள் எழுந்திருந்து: நாங்கள் பாவஞ்செய்தோம், கர்த்தர் வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணின இடத்துக்கு நாங்கள் போவோம் என்று சொல்லி மலையின் உச்சியில் ஏறத்துணிந்தார்கள். And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned.

41 மோசே அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் இப்படி கர்த்தரின் கட்டளையை மீறுகிறதென்ன? அது உங்களுக்கு வாய்க்காது. And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.

42 நீங்கள் உங்கள் சத்துருக்களுக்கு முன்பாக முறிய அடிக்கப்படாதபடிக்கு ஏறிப்போகாதிருங்கள்; கர்த்தர் உங்கள் நடுவில் இரார். Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies.

43 அமலேக்கியரும் கானானியரும் அங்கே உங்களுக்குமுன்னே இருக்கிறார்கள்; பட்டயத்தினால் விழுவீர்கள்; நீங்கள் கர்த்தரை விட்டுப் பின்வாங்கினபடியால், கர்த்தர் உங்களோடே இருக்கமாட்டார் என்றான். For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.

44 ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் மலையின் உச்சியில் ஏறத் துணிந்தார்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் பெட்டியும் மோசேயும் பாளயத்தை விட்டுப் போகவில்லை. But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.

39 Moses intha vaarththaikalai Israel puththirar anaivarodum sonnapothu, janangal mikavum thukkiththaarkal. And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.

40 Athikaalamae avarkal elunthirunthu: naangal paavanjaெythom, Karththar vaakkuththaththampannnnina idaththukku naangal povom entu solli malaiyin uchchiyil aeraththunninthaarkal. And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned.

41 Moses avarkalai Nnokki: neengal ippati karththarin kattalaiyai meeraுkirathenna? Athu ungalukku vaaykkaathu. And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.

42 Neengal ungal saththurukkalukku munpaaka muriya atikkappadaathapatikku aerippokaathirungal; Karththar ungal naduvil iraar. Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies.

43 Amalaekkiyarum kaanaaniyarum angae ungalukkumunnae irukkiraarkal; pattayaththinaal viluveerkal; neengal karththarai vittup pinvaanginapatiyaal, Karththar ungalotae irukkamaattar entan. 44 Aanaalum avarkal malaiyin uchchiyil aerath thunninthaarkal; karththarutaiya udanpatikkaiyin pettiyum Mosesyum paalayaththai vittup pokavillai. But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.
