Proverbs 8 - YLT (Nepali)

1 Doth not wisdom call? And understanding give forth her voice?के ज्ञानले तिमीलाई बोलाउँदैन र? के समझशक्तिले तिमीलाई ठूलो स्वरमा बोलाएको छैन र?

2 At the head of high places by the way, Between the paths she hath stood,ऊ अग्लो ठाउँहरू माथि उभिन्छे जहाँबाट दोबाटो देखिन्छन्।

3 At the side of the gates, at the mouth of the city, The entrance of the openings, she crieth aloud,ऊ शहरको प्रवेशद्वार नजिक छे उनले खुल्ला ढोकाहरूबाट बोलाइरहेकी छे।

4 `Unto you, O men, I call, And my voice `is' unto the sons of men.ज्ञानले भन्छे, “हे मानिस हो, म तिमीहरूलाई आह्वान गर्दछु, म सबै मानिसहरूलाई बोलाउँदैछु।

5 Understand, ye simple ones, prudence, And ye fools, understand the heart,तिमीहरू जो अनुभवी छैनौ भने ज्ञानी हुन सिक। हे मूर्खहरू हो, बुझ्न सिक।

6 Hearken, for noble things I speak, And the opening of my lips `is' uprightness.तिमीहरू सुन, म जुन कुराहरू सिकाउँछु, तिनीहरू महत्वपूर्ण छन्। जुन कुराहरू सही हुन, तिनीहरू नै भन्छु।

7 For truth doth my mouth utter, And an abomination to my lips `is' wickedness.मेरा वचनहरू सत्य हुन। किनभने मेरा ओंठहरूले मिथ्यालाई घृणा गर्छन्।

8 In righteousness `are' all the sayings of my mouth, Nothing in them is froward and perverse.मेरो मुखबाट निस्केका सबै वचनहरू सही तथा न्यायपूर्ण हुन्छन् अनि कुनै पनि भ्रमित तथा झूटो हुँदैनन्।

9 All of them `are' plain to the intelligent, And upright to those finding knowledge.यी सब भनाईहरू समझ हुने मानिसहरूको लागि स्पष्ट छन् अनि ज्ञानी मानिसहरूको निम्ति तिनीहरू सरल अग्रिम छन्।

10 Receive my instruction, and not silver, And knowledge rather than choice gold.मैले दिएका उपदेशहरू स्वीकार गर, कारण तिनीहरू चाँदी भन्दा असल छन्, अनि बहुमूल्य सुन लिनु भन्दा ज्ञान र बुद्धि लिनु नै उत्तम हो।

11 For better `is' wisdom than rubies, Yea, all delights are not comparable with it.ज्ञान मोतीहरू भन्दा अझ उत्तम हो। ज्ञान मानिसले चाहने ती सवै चिजहरू भन्दा असल हो।”

12 I, wisdom, have dwelt with prudence, And a knowledge of devices I find out.“म ज्ञान हुँ। अनि म बिवेकसँग बस्छु। तिमीले मलाई विद्या अनि राम्रो योजनासंग पाउँन सक्छौ।

13 The fear of Jehovah `is' to hate evil; Pride, and arrogance, and an evil way, And a froward mouth, I have hated.परमप्रभुको डर मान्नु नै दुष्टतालाई घृणा गर्नु हो। अभिमान, अहंकार, कुटिल व्यवहार अनि छलपूर्ण बोलीलाई म घृणा गर्छु।

14 Mine `is' counsel and substance, I `am' understanding, I have might.मसंग राम्रो सल्लाह अनि स्वास्थ्य ज्ञान छ। मसंग समझशक्ति अनि सामर्थ्य छन्।

15 By me kings reign, and princes decree righteousness,मेरै सहायतामा राजाहरूले राज गर्छन्, अनि शासकहरूले उचित कानून बनाउँछन् जुन सही र न्यायपूर्ण हुन्छ।

16 By me do chiefs rule, and nobles, All judges of the earth.राजकुमारहरू, राजकीय मानिसहरू, निष्पक्ष न्याय घोषणा गर्नेहरूले आफ्नो काम मद्वारा गर्छन्।

17 I love those loving me, And those seeking me earnestly do find me.म ती मानिसहरूलाई प्रेम गर्छु, ज-जसले मलाई प्रेम गर्छन् अनि यदि मानिसहरूले मलाई चेष्टा गरेर खोज्छन् भने तिनीहरूले मलाई भेट्ने छन्।

18 Wealth and honour `are' with me, Lasting substance and righteousness.धन दौलत र आदर मसित रहन्छ, म अनन्त धन अनि साँचो सफलता प्रदान गर्छु।

19 Better `is' my fruit than gold, even fine gold, And mine increase than choice silver.मैले दिएका भेटीहरू शुद्ध चाँदी भन्दा असल छन् औ म जुन चीज दिन्छु तिनीहरू अकबरी सुनभन्दा असल हुन्छन्।

20 In a path of righteousness I cause to walk, In midst of paths of judgment,म मानिसहरूलाई सही मार्गमा डोर्याँउछु, म तिनीहरूलाई सही न्यायले चल्ने पथमा डोर्याँउछु।

21 To cause my lovers to inherit substance, Yea, their treasures I fill.मलाई मन पराउनेहरूलाई सम्पत्ति दिन्छु, हो, म तिनीहरूको घर नै सम्पत्तिले भरिदिन्छु।

22 Jehovah possessed me -- the beginning of His way, Before His works since then.परमप्रभुले उहाँको प्राचीन कार्यहरू भन्दा पहिला सृष्टिको प्रारम्भमा नै मलाई बनाउनु भयो।

23 From the age I was anointed, from the first, From former states of the earth.यो संसार सृजना गरिनु भन्दा पहिला अस्मरणीय आनन्द कालमा मेरो सृजना भयो।

24 In there being no depths, I was brought forth, In there being no fountains heavy `with' waters,जब त्यहाँ भूमध्यसागर थिएन, म जन्मिएको थिएँ। पानीले भरिएको महा-सागरहरू भन्दा पहिला म जन्मिएको थिए।

25 Before mountains were sunk, Before heights, I was brought forth.पर्वतहरूलाई तिनीहरूको ठाउँमा राख्नु भन्दा अघि, पहाडहरू हुनु भन्दा अघि, म जन्मिएको थिएँ।

26 While He had not made the earth, and out-places, And the top of the dusts of the world.परमप्रभुले पृथ्वी रच्नु भन्दा पहिल्यै, खेत सृजना गर्नु भन्दा पहिल्यै, पृथ्वीमा पहिलो धूलो बनाउँनु भन्दा अघि नै, म त्यहाँ थिएँ।

27 In His preparing the heavens I `am' there, In His decreeing a circle on the face of the deep,जब परमप्रभुले आकाश सृष्टि गर्नु भयो, म त्यहाँ थिएँ। जब परमप्रभुले क्षितिजहरूको चित्रसागरको प्रतिबिम्ब माथि कोर्नु भन्दा पहिला म त्यहाँ थिएँ।

28 In His strengthening clouds above, In His making strong fountains of the deep,जब उहाँले आकाशमा बादल राखेर महा-सागर सृष्टि गर्नु भन्दा पहिला म जन्मेको थिएँ।

29 In His setting for the sea its limit, And the waters transgress not His command, In His decreeing the foundations of earth,उहाँले समुद्रको सिमाना तोक्दा उहाँको आज्ञा नाघी पानी बाहिर नजाओस् भनी उहाँले पृथ्वीको जग बसाउँनु हुँदा।

30 Then I am near Him, a workman, And I am a delight -- day by day. Rejoicing before Him at all times,म उहाँको छेउमा एउटा प्रिय बालक झैं थिएँ। म दिन प्रतिदिन उहाँको खुशीयालिमा थिएँ। हर समय उहाँको उपस्थिमा निरन्तर आनन्द मनाउँथें।

31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth, And my delights `are' with the sons of men.म उहाँले सृष्टि गर्नु भएको संसारमा आनन्द लिन्छु, म मानव जातिमा खुशी लिन्छु।

32 And now, ye sons, hearken to me, Yea, happy are they who keep my ways.अनि अब, हे मेरो छोराहरू, मलाई सुन! ती मानिसहरू भाग्यमानी हुन् जो मैले देखाएको बाटोमा हिंड्छन्।

33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and slight not.मेरो शिक्षाहरूलाई सुन अनि ज्ञानी बन, तिनीहरूलाई अस्वीकार नगर।

34 O the happiness of the man hearkening to me, To watch at my doors day by day, To watch at the door-posts of my entrance.जुन मानिसले मेरो कुरा सुन्छ, त्यही मानिस नै भाग्यमानी हुनेछ, जसले दिनहुँ मेरो ढोकामा आँखा लगाइरहन्छ, जसले मेरो ढोकाको सङ्घार पर्खिरहन्छन्। तिनीहरूनै धन्य हुन्छन्।

35 For whoso is finding me, hath found life, And bringeth out good-will from Jehovah.किनभने जसले मलाई पाउँछ, उसले जीवन पाँउछ। अनि उसैले परमेश्वरबाट अनुग्रह पाउँछ।

36 And whoso is missing me, is wronging his soul, All hating me have loved death!तर जसले मेरो बिरूद्ध पाप गर्छ, उसले आफैंलाई हानी पुर्याँउछ। जसले मलाई घृणा गर्छ उसले मृत्युलाई प्रेम गर्छ।”
