அப்பொழுது உன்னைக் காண்கிறவனெல்லாம் நினிவே பாழாய்ப்போயிற்று, அதற்காகப் புலம்புகிறவர்கள் யார்? ஆறுதல் சொல்லுகிறவர்களை உனக்கு எங்கே தேடுவேனென்று சொல்லி உன்னைவிட்டோடிப்போவான்.

உன்னைப் பார்க்கிற ஒவ்வொருவரும் அதிர்ச்சி அடைவார்கள். அவர்கள், ‘நினிவே அழிக்கப்படுகிறது. அவளுக்காக யார் அழுவார்கள்?’ என்பார்கள். நினிவே, என்னால் உன்னை ஆறுதல்படுத்தும் எவரையும் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாது என்று எனக்குத் தெரியும்.”
