1 Yahweh said to Aaron, You and your sons and your fathers' house with you shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.പിന്നെ യഹോവ അഹരോനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും നിന്റെ പിതൃഭവനവും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുണ്ടാകുന്ന അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കേണം; നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൌരോഹിത്യം സംബന്ധിച്ചുണ്ടാകുന്ന അകൃത്യവും വഹിക്കേണം.

2 Your brothers also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, bring you near with you, that they may be joined to you, and minister to you: but you and your sons with you shall be before the tent of the testimony.നിന്റെ പിതൃഗോത്രമായ ലേവിഗോത്രത്തിലുള്ള നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ അടുത്തുവരുമാറാക്കേണം. അവർ നിന്നോടു ചേർന്നു നിനക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം; നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുമോ സാക്ഷ്യകൂടാരത്തിങ്കൽ ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം.

3 They shall keep your charge, and the charge of all the Tent: only they shall not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary and to the altar, that they not die, neither they, nor you.അവർ നിനക്കും കൂടാരത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും ആവശ്യമുള്ള കാര്യം നോക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ അവരും നിങ്ങളും കൂടെ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളോടും യാഗപീഠത്തോടും അടുക്കരുതു.

4 They shall be joined to you, and keep the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the Tent: and a stranger shall not come near to you.അവർ നിന്നോടു ചേർന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള സകലവേലെക്കുമായി കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കേണം; ഒരു അന്യനും നിങ്ങളോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

5 You shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar; that there be wrath no more on the children of Israel.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മേൽ ഇനി ക്രോധം വരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെയും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെയും കാര്യം നിങ്ങൾ നോക്കേണം.

6 I, behold, I have taken your brothers the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are a gift, given to Yahweh, to do the service of the tent of meeting.ലേവ്യരായ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയോ ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു എടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവെക്കു ദാനമായിരിക്കുന്ന അവരെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വേല ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7 You and your sons with you shall keep your priesthood for everything of the altar, and for that within the veil; and you shall serve: I give you the priesthood as a service of gift: and the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.ആകയാൽ നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കലും തിരശ്ശീലെക്കകത്തും ഉള്ള സകലകാര്യത്തിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൌരോഹിത്യം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം; പൌരോഹിത്യം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അന്യൻ അടുത്തുവന്നാൽ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

8 Yahweh spoke to Aaron, I, behold, I have given you the charge of my heave-offerings, even all the holy things of the children of Israel; to you have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to your sons, as a portion forever.യഹോവ പിന്നെയും അഹരോനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: ഇതാ, എന്റെ ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യം ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സകലവസ്തുക്കളിലും അവയെ ഞാൻ നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കും ഓഹരിയായും ശാശ്വതവാകാശമായും തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

9 This shall be your of the most holy things, [reserved] from the fire: every offering of theirs, even every meal-offering of theirs, and every sin-offering of theirs, and every trespass-offering of theirs, which they shall render to me, shall be most holy for you and for your sons.തീയിൽ ദഹിപ്പിക്കാത്തതായി അതിവിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളിൽവെച്ചു ഇതു നിനക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; അവർ എനിക്കു അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ എല്ലാവഴിപാടും സകലഭോജനയാഗവും സകലപാപയാഗവും സകലഅകൃത്യയാഗവും അതിവിശുദ്ധമായി നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കും ഇരിക്കേണം.

10 As the most holy things shall you eat of it; every male shall eat of it: it shall be holy to you.അതി വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുവായിട്ടു അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കേണം; ആണുങ്ങളെല്ലാം അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കേണം. അതു നിനക്കുവേണ്ടി വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

11 This is your: the heave-offering of their gift, even all the wave-offerings of the children of Israel; I have given them to you, and to your sons and to your daughters with you, as a portion forever; everyone who is clean in your house shall eat of it.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ദാനമായുള്ള ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണമായ ഇതു അവരുടെ സകലനീരാജനയാഗങ്ങളോടുംകൂടെ നിനക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു; ഇവയെ ഞാൻ നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന്നെല്ലാം അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കാം.

12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the vintage, and of the grain, the first fruits of them which they give to Yahweh, to you have I given them.എണ്ണയിൽ വിശേഷമായതൊക്കെയും പുതുവീഞ്ഞിലും ധാന്യത്തിലും വിശേഷമായതൊക്കെയും ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ യഹോവെക്കു അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യഫലമൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

13 The first-ripe fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring to Yahweh, shall be yours; everyone who is clean in your house shall eat of it.അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിലും യഹോവെക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന ആദ്യഫലങ്ങൾ നിനക്കു ആയിരിക്കേണം; നിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന്നെല്ലാം അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കാം.

14 Everything devoted in Israel shall be yours.യിസ്രായേലിൽ ശപഥാർപ്പിതമായതു ഒക്കെയും നിനക്കു ഇരിക്കേണം.

15 Everything that opens the womb, of all flesh which they offer to Yahweh, both of man and animal shall be yours: nevertheless the firstborn of man shall you surely redeem, and the firstborn of unclean animals shall you redeem.മനുഷ്യരിൽ ആകട്ടെ മൃഗങ്ങളിൽ ആകട്ടെ സകല ജഡത്തിലും അവർ യഹോവെക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന കടിഞ്ഞൂൽ ഒക്കെയും നിനക്കു ഇരിക്കേണം; മനുഷ്യന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയോ വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണം; അശുദ്ധമൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണം.

16 Those who are to be redeemed of them from a month old shall you redeem, according to your estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary (the same is twenty gerahs).വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു വിലയോ: ഒരു മാസംമുതൽ മേലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ളതിനെ നിന്റെ മതിപ്പുപ്രകാരം അഞ്ചു ശേക്കെൽ ദ്രവ്യംകൊടുത്തു വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണം. ശേക്കെൽ ഒന്നിന്നു ഇരുപതു ഗേരപ്രകാരം വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ തൂക്കം തന്നേ.

17 But the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy: you shall sprinkle their blood on the altar, and shall burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savor to Yahweh.എന്നാൽ പശു, ആടു, കോലാടു എന്നിവയുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കരുതു; അവ വിശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു; അവയുടെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ തളിച്ചു മേദസ്സു യഹോവെക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

18 The flesh of them shall be your, as the wave-breast and as the right thigh, it shall be yours.നീരാജനം ചെയ്ത നെഞ്ചും വലത്തെ കൈക്കുറകും നിനക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവയുടെ മാംസവും നിനക്കു ഇരിക്കേണം.

19 All the heave-offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer to Yahweh, have I given you, and your sons and your daughters with you, as a portion forever: it is a covenant of salt forever before Yahweh to you and to your seed with you.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ യഹോവെക്കു അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളിൽ ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഞാൻ നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിനക്കും നിന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും ഇതു എന്നേക്കും ഒരു ലവണനിയമം ആകുന്നു.

20 Yahweh said to Aaron, You shall have no inheritance in their land, neither shall you have any portion among them: I am your portion and your inheritance among the children of Israel.യഹോവ പിന്നെയും അഹരോനോടു: നിനക്കു അവരുടെ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഒരു അവകാശവും ഉണ്ടാകരുതു; അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിനക്കു ഒരു ഓഹരിയും അരുതു; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഞാൻ തന്നേ നിന്റെ ഓഹരിയും അവകാശവും ആകുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

21 To the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they serve, even the service of the tent of meeting.ലേവ്യർക്കോ ഞാൻ സാമഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചു അവർ ചെയ്യുന്ന വേലെക്കു യിസ്രായേലിൽ ഉള്ള ദശാംശം എല്ലാം അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

22 Henceforth the children of Israel shall not come near the tent of meeting, lest they bear sin, and die.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ പാപം വഹിച്ചു മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മേലാൽ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

23 But the Levites shall do the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations; and among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.ലേവ്യർ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വേല ചെയ്കയും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കയും വേണം; അതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടമായിരിക്കേണം; അവർക്കു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവകാശം ഉണ്ടാകരുതു.

24 For the tithe of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave-offering to Yahweh, I have given to the Levites for an inheritance: therefore I have said to them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ യഹോവെക്കു ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണമായി അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദശാംശം ഞാൻ ലേവ്യർക്കു അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവർക്കു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവകാശം അരുതു എന്നു ഞാൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

25 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

26 Moreover you shall speak to the Levites, and tell them, When you take of the children of Israel the tithe which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall offer up a heave-offering of it for Yahweh, a tithe of the tithe.നീ ലേവ്യരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശമായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ദശാംശം അവരോടു വാങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ദശാംശത്തിന്റെ പത്തിലൊന്നു നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണമായി അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

27 Your heave-offering shall be reckoned to you, as though it were the grain of the threshing floor, and as the fullness of the winepress.നിങ്ങളുടെ ഈ ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണം കളത്തിലെ ധാന്യംപോലെയും മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കിലെ നിറവുപോലെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പേർക്കു എണ്ണും.

28 Thus you also shall offer a heave-offering to Yahweh of all your tithes, which you receive of the children of Israel; and of it you shall give Yahweh's heave-offering to Aaron the priest.ഇങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളോടു നിങ്ങൾ വാങ്ങുന്ന സകലദശാംശത്തിൽനിന്നും യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണം അർപ്പിക്കേണം; യഹോവെക്കുള്ള ആ ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണം നിങ്ങൾ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം.

29 Out of all your gifts you shall offer every heave-offering of Yahweh, of all the best of it, even the holy part of it out of it.നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള സകലദാനങ്ങളിലും ഉത്തമമായ എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും വിശുദ്ധഭാഗം നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണമായി അർപ്പിക്കേണം.

30 Therefore you shall tell them, When you heave the best of it from it, then it shall be reckoned to the Levites as the increase of the threshing floor, and as the increase of the wine-press.ആകയാൽ നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ അതിന്റെ ഉത്തമഭാഗം ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണമായി അർപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതു കളത്തിലെ അനുഭവം പോലെയും മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കിലെ അനുഭവംപോലെയും ലേവ്യർക്കു എണ്ണും.

31 You shall eat it in every place, you and your households: for it is your reward in return for your service in the tent of meeting.അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്കും എല്ലാടത്തുവെച്ചും ഭക്ഷിക്കാം; അതു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിങ്കൽ നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന വേലെക്കുള്ള ശമ്പളം ആകുന്നു.

32 You shall bear no sin by reason of it, when you have heaved from it the best of it: and you shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, that you not die.അതിന്റെ ഉത്തമഭാഗം ഉദർച്ചചെയ്താൽ പിന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ അതു നിമിത്തം പാപം വഹിക്കയില്ല; നിങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കൾ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും അതിനാൽ മരിച്ചു പോവാൻ ഇടവരികയുമില്ല.
