ഇവർ എന്തുചെയ്‍വാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവൻ: ആരും തല ഉയർത്താതവണ്ണം യെഹൂദയെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ കൊമ്പുകളാകുന്നു അവ; ഇവരോ യെഹൂദാദേശത്തെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു കൊമ്പുയർത്തിയ ജാതികളുടെ കൊമ്പുകളെ തള്ളിയിട്ടു അവരെ പേടിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.

Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head; but these are come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations, which lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.

the horns	הַקְּרָנ֞וֹת	qeren	keh-REN
which	אֲשֶׁר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
have scattered	זֵ֣רוּ	zārâ	za-RA
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
Judah,	יְהוּדָ֗ה	yĕhûdâ	yeh-hoo-DA
so that	כְּפִי	pe	peh
man	אִישׁ֙	ʾîš	eesh
no	לֹא	lōʾ	loh
did lift up	נָשָׂ֣א	nāśāʾ	na-SA
his head:	רֹאשׁ֔וֹ	rōš	rohsh
are come	וַיָּבֹ֤אוּ	bôʾ	boh

to fray	לְהַחֲרִ֣יד	ḥārad	ha-RAHD
