യോനയെ വിഴുങ്ങേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ ഒരു മഹാമത്സ്യത്തെ കല്പിച്ചാക്കിയിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ യോനാ മൂന്നു രാവും മൂന്നു പകലും മത്സ്യത്തിന്റെ വയറ്റിൽ കിടന്നു.
