John 9 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 And when he went on his way, he saw a man blind from birth.അവൻ കടന്നുപോകുമ്പോൾ പിറവിയിലെ കുരുടനായോരു മനുഷ്യനെ കണ്ടു.

2 And his disciples put a question to him, saying, Master, was it because of this man's sin, or the sin of his father and mother, that he has been blind from birth?അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനോടു: റബ്ബീ, ഇവൻ കുരുടനായി പിറക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം ആർ പാപം ചെയ്തു? ഇവനോ ഇവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

3 Jesus said in answer, It was not because of his sin, or because of his father's or mother's; it was so that the works of God might be seen openly in him.അതിന്നു യേശു: “അവൻ എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെങ്കിലും പാപം ചെയ്തിട്ടല്ല, ദൈവപ്രവൃത്തി അവങ്കൽ വെളിവാകേണ്ടതിന്നത്രേ.

4 While it is day we have to do the works of him who sent me: the night comes when no work may be done.എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി പകൽ ഉള്ളേടത്തോളം നാം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാകുന്നു; ആർക്കും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത രാത്രി വരുന്നു;

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.ഞാൻ ലോകത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ലോകത്തിന്റെ വെളിച്ചം ആകുന്നു” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

6 Having said these words, he put earth, mixed with water from his mouth, on the man's eyes,ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവൻ നിലത്തു തുപ്പി തുപ്പൽകൊണ്ടു ചേറുണ്ടാക്കി ചേറു അവന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മേൽ പൂശി

7 And said to him, Go and make yourself clean in the bath of Siloam (the sense of the name is, Sent). So he went away and, after washing, came back able to see.“നീ ചെന്നു ശിലോഹാംകുളത്തിൽ കഴുകുക” എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ശിലോഹാം എന്നതിന്നു അയക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നർത്ഥം. അവൻ പോയി കഴുകി, കണ്ണു കാണുന്നവനായി മടങ്ങിവന്നു.

8 Then the neighbours and others who had seen him before in the street, with his hand out for money, said, Is not this the man who got money from people?അയൽക്കാരും അവനെ മുമ്പെ ഇരക്കുന്നവനായി കണ്ടവരും: ഇവനല്ലയോ അവിടെ ഇരുന്നു ഭിക്ഷ യാചിച്ചവൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

9 Some said, It is he: others said, No, but he is like him. He said, I am he.അവൻ തന്നേഎന്നു ചിലരും അല്ല, അവനെപ്പോലെയുള്ളവൻ എന്നു മറ്റുചിലരും പറഞ്ഞു; ഞാൻ തന്നേ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

10 So they said to him, How then were your eyes made open?അവർ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവൻ:

11 His answer was: The man who is named Jesus put earth mixed with water on my eyes, and said to me, Go and make yourself clean in Siloam: so I went away and, after washing, am now able to see.യേശു എന്നു പേരുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ ചേറുണ്ടാക്കി എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മേൽ പൂശി: ശിലോഹാംകുളത്തിൽ ചെന്നു കഴുകുക എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ഞാൻ പോയി കഴുകി കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

12 And they said to him, Where is he? His answer was: I have no knowledge.അവൻ എവിടെ എന്നു അവർ അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

13 They took him before the Pharisees--this man who had been blind.കുരുടനായിരുന്നവനെ അവർ പരീശന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

14 Now the day on which the earth was mixed by Jesus and the man's eyes were made open was the Sabbath.യേശു ചേറുണ്ടാക്കി അവന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നതു ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളിൽ ആയിരുന്നു.

15 So the Pharisees put more questions to him about how his eyes had been made open. And he said to them, He put earth on my eyes, and I had a wash and am able to see.അവൻ കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു പരീശന്മാരും അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു. അവൻ അവരോടു: അവൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മേൽ ചേറു തേച്ചു ഞാൻ കഴുകി; കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

16 Then some of the Pharisees said, That man has not come from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath. Others said, How is it possible for a sinner to do such signs? So there was a division among them.പരീശന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ശബ്ബത്ത് പ്രമാണിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നവനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. മറ്റു ചിലർ: പാപിയായോരു മനുഷ്യന്നു ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള അടയാളങ്ങൾ ചെയ്‍വാൻ എങ്ങനെ കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ഭിന്നത ഉണ്ടായി.

17 Again they said to the blind man, What have you to say about him for opening your eyes? And he said, He is a prophet.അവർ പിന്നെയും കുരുടനോടു: നിന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു എന്തു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: അവൻ ഒരു പ്രവാചകൻ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

18 Now the Jews had no belief in the statement that he had been blind and was now able to see, till they sent for the father and mother of the man whose eyes had been made open,കാഴ്ചപ്രാപിച്ചവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെ വിളിച്ചു ചോദിക്കുവോളം അവൻ കുരുടനായിരുന്നു എന്നും കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്നും യെഹൂദന്മാർ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.

19 And put the question to them, saying, Is this your son, of whom you say that he was blind at birth? how is it then that he is now able to see?കുരുടനായി ജനിച്ചു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ മകൻ ഇവൻ തന്നെയോ? എന്നാൽ അവന്നു ഇപ്പോൾ കണ്ണു കാണുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു അവർ അവരോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

20 In answer his father and mother said, We are certain that this is our son and that he was blind at birth:അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ: ഇവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ മകൻ എന്നും കുരുടനായി ജനിച്ചവൻ എന്നും ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു.

21 But how it is he is now able to see, or who made his eyes open, we are not able to say: put the question to him; he is old enough to give an answer for himself.എന്നാൽ കണ്ണു കാണുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ല; അവന്റെ കണ്ണു ആർ തുറന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ല; അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പിൻ; അവന്നു പ്രായം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ അവൻ തന്നേ പറയും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

22 They said this because of their fear of the Jews: for the Jews had come to an agreement that if any man said that Jesus was the Christ he would be put out of the Synagogue.യെഹൂദന്മാരെ ഭയപ്പെടുകകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞതു; അവനെ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു ഏറ്റുപറയുന്നവൻ പള്ളിഭ്രഷ്ടനാകേണം എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞൊത്തിരുന്നു

23 That was the reason why they said, He is old enough; put the question to him.അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ: അവന്നു പ്രായം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു.

24 So they sent a second time for the man who had been blind and they said to him, Give glory to God: it is clear to us that this man is a sinner.കുരുടനായിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യനെ അവർ രണ്ടാമതും വിളിച്ചു: ദൈവത്തിന്നു മഹത്വം കൊടുക്ക; ആ മനുഷ്യൻ പാപി എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

25 He said in answer, I have no knowledge if he is a sinner or not, but one thing I am certain about; I was blind, and now I see.അതിന്നു അവൻ: അവൻ പാപിയോ അല്ലയോ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ഒന്നു അറിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ കുരുടനായിരുന്നു, ഇപ്പോൾ കണ്ണു കാണുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

26 Then they said to him, What did he do to you? how did he give you the use of your eyes?അവർ അവനോടു: അവൻ നിനക്കു എന്തു ചെയ്തു? നിന്റെ കണ്ണു എങ്ങനെ തുറന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

27 His answer was: I have said it before, but your ears were shut: why would you have me say it again? is it your desire to become his disciples?അതിന്നു അവൻ: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; നിങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല; വീണ്ടും കേൾപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? നിങ്ങൾക്കും അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ആകുവാൻ മനസ്സുണ്ടോ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

28 And they were angry with him and said, You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.അപ്പോൾ അവർ അവനെ ശകാരിച്ചു: നീ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യൻ; ഞങ്ങൾ മോശെയുടെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ.

29 We are certain that God gave his word to Moses: but as for this man, we have no knowledge where he comes from.മോശെയോടു ദൈവം സംസാരിച്ചു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു; ഇവനോ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

30 The man said in answer, Why, here is a strange thing! You have no knowledge where he comes from though he gave me the use of my eyes.ആ മനുഷ്യൻ അവരോടു: എന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നിട്ടും അവൻ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയാത്തതു ആശ്ചയ്യം.

31 We have knowledge that God does not give ear to sinners, but if any man is a worshipper of God and does his pleasure, to him God's ears are open.പാപികളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന ദൈവം കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നും ദൈവഭക്തനായിരുന്നു അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്നവന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കുന്നു എന്നും നാം അറിയുന്നു.

32 In all the years nobody has ever before seen the eyes of a man blind from birth made open.കുരുടനായി പിറന്നവന്റെ കണ്ണു ആരെങ്കിലും തുറന്നപ്രകാരം ലോകം ഉണ്ടായതുമുതൽ കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല.

33 If this man did not come from God he would be unable to do anything.ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നവൻ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവന്നു ഒന്നും ചെയ്‍വാൻ കഴികയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

34 Their answer was: You came to birth through sin; do you make yourself our teacher? And they put him out of the Synagogue.അവർ അവനോടു: നീ മുഴുവനും പാപത്തിൽ പിറന്നവൻ; നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ പുറത്താക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

35 It came to the ears of Jesus that they had put him out, and meeting him he said, Have you faith in the Son of man?അവനെ പുറത്താക്കി എന്നു യേശു കേട്ടു; അവനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ: “നീ ദൈവപുത്രനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുവോ ” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

36 He said in answer, And who is he, Lord? Say, so that I may have faith in him.അതിന്നു അവൻ: യജമാനനേ, അവൻ ആർ ആകുന്നു? ഞാൻ അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കാം എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

37 Jesus said to him, You have seen him; it is he who is talking to you.യേശു അവനോടു: “നീ അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു; നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നവൻ അവൻ തന്നേ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

38 And he said, Lord, I have faith. And he gave him worship.ഉടനെ അവൻ: കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

39 And Jesus said, I came into this world to be a judge, so that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.“കാണാത്തവർ കാണ്മാനും കാണുന്നവർ കുരുടർ ആവാനും ഇങ്ങനെ ന്യായവിധിക്കായി ഞാൻ ഇഹലോകത്തിൽ വന്നു” എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞു.

40 These words came to the ears of the Pharisees who were with him and they said to him, Are we, then, blind?അവനോടുകൂടെയുള്ള ചില പരീശന്മാർ ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു ഞങ്ങളും കുരുടരോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

41 Jesus said to them, If you were blind you would have no sin: but now that you say, We see; your sin is there still.യേശു അവരോടു: “നിങ്ങൾ കുരുടർ ആയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പാപം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ: ഞങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപം നില്ക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
