അതു പന്ത്രണ്ടു കാളയുടെ പുറത്തു വെച്ചിരുന്നു: മൂന്നു വടക്കോട്ടും മൂന്നു പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടും മൂന്നു തെക്കോട്ടും മൂന്നു കിഴക്കോട്ടും തിരിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. കടൽ അവയുടെ പുറത്തു വെച്ചിരുന്നു; അവയുടെ പൃഷ്ഠഭാഗമൊക്കെയും അകത്തോട്ടു ആയിരുന്നു.
