അപ്പോൾ ശൌൽ അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അവന്റെ നേരെ കുന്തം ചാടി; അതിനാൽ തന്റെ അപ്പൻ ദാവീദിനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ നിർണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യോനാഥാൻ അറിഞ്ഞു.
