18 தன் மனைவியைத் தள்ளிவிட்டு, வேறொருத்தியை விவாகம்பண்ணுகிறவன் விபசாரஞ்செய்கிறான், புருஷனாலே தள்ளப்பட்டவளை விவாகம்பண்ணுகிறவனும் விபசாரஞ்செய்கிறான். Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

18 Than manaiviyaith thallivittu, vaeroruththiyai vivaakampannnukiravan vipasaaranjaெykiraan, purushanaalae thallappattavalai vivaakampannnukiravanum vipasaaranjaெykiraan. Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
