Proverbs 28 - ASV (Kannada)

1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth; But the righteous are bold as a lion.ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವವನು ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ದುಷ್ಟರು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; But by men of understanding `and' knowledge the state `thereof' shall be prolonged.ದೇಶದ ದೋಷಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ವಿವೇಕದಿಂದಲೂ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

3 A needy man that oppresseth the poor Is `like' a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವ ದರಿದ್ರನು ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಸುರಿಯುವ ಮಳೆಯಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked; But such as keep the law contend with them.ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸುವವನು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳು ವವರು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

5 Evil men understand not justice; But they that seek Jehovah understand all things.ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟರು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

6 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, Than he that is perverse in `his' ways, though he be rich.ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ವಕ್ರ ವಾಗಿರುವವನಿಗಿಂತ ತನ್ನ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆ ಯುವ ದರಿದ್ರನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನು.

7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son; But he that is a companion of gluttons shameth his father.ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳು ವವನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದ ಮಗನು; ದುಂದುಗಾರ ಸಂಗ ಡಿಗನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

8 He that augmenteth his substance by interest and increase, Gathereth it for him that hath pity on the poor.ಬಡ್ಡಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅನ್ಯಾಯದ ಲಾಭದಿಂದಲೂ ತನ್ನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುವವನು ಬಡವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯೆತೋರಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವನು.

9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ತನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಅಸಹ್ಯ.

10 Whoso causeth the upright to go astray in an evil way, He shall fall himself into his own pit; But the perfect shall inherit good.ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿಸು ವವನು ತಾನೇ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕುಣಿಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳುವನು; ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತರಿಗಾದರೋ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವುಗಳು ಸೊತ್ತಾ ಗುವವು.

11 The rich man is wise in his own conceit; But the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ ವಂತನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ವಿವೇಕಿಯಾದ ಬಡವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಿ ದರೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಘನತೆ ಇರುವದು; ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಏಳಿಗೆ ಯಾದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

13 He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy.ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗನು; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವವನು ಕರುಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವನು.

14 Happy is the man that feareth alway; But he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಭಯದಿಂದ ಇರು ವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು; ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳುವನು.

15 `As' a roaring lion, and a ranging bear, `So is' a wicked ruler over a poor people.ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆಯೂ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಕರಡಿಯಂತೆಯೂ ಬಡವರಾದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಳುವ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಇರುತ್ತಾನೆ.

16 The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor; `But' he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.ವಿವೇಕ ಶೂನ್ಯನಾದ ಒಡೆಯನು ಮಹಾಹಿಂಸಕನು; ಲೋಭತನವನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವನು ತನ್ನ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ದೀರ್ಘಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

17 A man that is laden with the blood of any person Shall flee unto the pit; let no man stay him.ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವವನು ಕುಣಿಗೆ ಹಾರುವನು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಯಾವನೂ ತಡೆಯದಿರಲಿ.

18 Whoso walketh uprightly shall be delivered; But he that is perverse in `his' ways shall fall at once.ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವವನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು; ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಕ್ರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಬೀಳು ವನು.

19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread; But he that followeth after vain `persons' shall have poverty enough.ತನ್ನ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ವನಿಗೆ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಇರುವದು; ಆದರೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಬಡತನವು ಇರುವದು.

20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings; But he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be unpunished.ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾದ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿತುಳುಕುವನು; ಆದರೆ ಧನವಂತನಾಗಲು ಆತುರಪಡುವವನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿ ಯಾಗಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

21 To have respect of persons is not good; Neither that a man should transgress for a piece of bread.ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ; ತುತ್ತು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡುವನು.

22 he that hath an evil eye hasteth after riches, And knoweth not that want shall come upon him.ಧನ ವಂತನಾಗಲು ಆತುರಪಡುವವನು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಕಣ್ಣುಳ್ಳವ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ತನಗೆ ಬಡತನವು ಬರುವದನ್ನು ಅವನು ಯೋಚಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

23 He that rebuketh a man shall afterward find more favor Than he that flattereth with the tongue.ತನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡುವವನಿಗಿಂತ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವವನು ತರುವಾಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದಯಾಪಾತ್ರನಾಗುವನು.

24 Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression, The same is the companion of a destroyer.ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ದೋಚಿಕೊಂಡು--ಇದು ದೋಷವಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವವನು ಕೆಡುಕನಿಗೆ ಜೊತೆಗಾರನು.

25 He that is of a greedy spirit stirreth up strife; But he that putteth his trust in Jehovah shall be made fat.ಗರ್ವದ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವನು ಕಲಹ ವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸುವನು; ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವನು ಪುಷ್ಟ ನಾಗುವನು.

26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool; But whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಭರವಸವಿ ಡುವವನು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನು; ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುವ ವನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; But he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ದಾನಮಾಡು ವವರು ಕೊರತೆಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಶಾಪಗಳು.

28 When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; But when they perish, the righteous increase.ದುಷ್ಟರು ಎದ್ದರೆ ಜನರು ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ನಾಶ ವಾದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
