Proverbs 24 - DBY (Kannada)

1 Be not thou envious of evil men, neither desire to be with them;ಕೆಟ್ಟವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಅಸೂಯೆಪಡದಿರು; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಡ;

2 for their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ನಾಶನವನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವರ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಹಾನಿ ಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.

3 Through wisdom is a house built, and by understanding it is established;ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ಮನೆಯು ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ; ವಿವೇಕದಿಂದ ಅದು ಸ್ಥಿರಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ;

4 and by knowledge are the chambers filled with all precious and pleasant substance.ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಇಷ್ಟ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಕೋಣೆಗಳು ತುಂಬಲ್ಪಡುವವು.

5 A wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge increaseth strength.ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯು ಬಲವುಳ್ಳವನು; ಹೌದು, ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯು ಳ್ಳವನು ಬಲವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

6 For with good advice shalt thou make thy war; and in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.ಜ್ಞಾನಯುಕ್ತ ವಾದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ನಡಿ ಸುತ್ತೀ; ಬಹುಮಂದಿ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರು ಇರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರ ಕ್ಷಣೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.

7 Wisdom is too high for a fool: he will not open his mouth in the gate.ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನಿಗೆ ನಿಲುಕದ್ದಾ ಗಿದೆ. ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.

8 He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a master of intrigues.ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವನು ಕುಚೋದ್ಯಗಾರ ನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವನು.

9 The purpose of folly is sin, and the scorner is an abomination to men.ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನ ಆಲೋ ಚನೆಯು ಪಾಪ; ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯ.

10 [If] thou losest courage in the day of trouble, thy strength is small.ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಬಳಲಿಹೋದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲವು ಕೊಂಚವಾಗಿದೆ.

11 Deliver them that are taken forth unto death, and withdraw not from them that stagger to slaughter.ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸೆಳೆಯ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ವಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾದವರನ್ನು ನೀನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲೂ ಹಿಂದೆಗೆದರೆ

12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not, will not he that weigheth the hearts consider it? And he that preserveth thy soul, he knoweth it; and he rendereth to man according to his work.ನೀನು--ಇಗೋ, ಅದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸುವಾತನು ಅದನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವಾತನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡದೆ ಇರುವನೇ?

13 Eat honey, my son, for it is good; and a honeycomb is sweet to thy taste:ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಜೇನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಜೇನು ತುಪ್ಪವು ಸಿಹಿಯಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದಲೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನು;

14 so consider wisdom for thy soul; if thou hast found it, there shall be a result, and thine expectation shall not be cut off.ಹೀಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯು ಇರುವದು; ಅದು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದಾಗ ಬಹುಮಾನವಿರುವದು; ನಿನ್ನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ನಿರರ್ಥಕವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

15 Lay not wait, O wicked [man], against the dwelling of the righteous; lay not waste his resting-place.ದುಷ್ಟನೇ, ನೀತಿವಂತನ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕಬೇಡ; ಅವನ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಬೇಡ;

16 For the righteous falleth seven times, and riseth up again; but the wicked stumble into disaster.ನೀತಿ ವಂತನು ಏಳು ಸಾರಿ ಬಿದ್ದರೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ಏಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಬೀಳುವನು.

17 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thy heart be glad when he stumbleth;ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರು ಬಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಬೇಡ; ಅವನು ಎಡವಿದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಹರ್ಷಿಸದಿರಲಿ;

18 lest Jehovah see it, and it be evil in his sight, and he turn away his anger from him.ಕರ್ತನು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಾನು.

19 Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, [and] be not envious of the wicked:ಕೆಟ್ಟವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದುಷ್ಟ ರಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಸೂಯೆಪಡಬೇಡ;

20 for there shall be no future to the evil [man]; the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.ಕೆಡುಕನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಫಲವು ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ದೀಪವು ಆರಿಹೋಗು ವದು.

21 My son, fear Jehovah and the king: meddle not with them that are given to change.ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೂ ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ಭಯಪಡು; ಭಯಪಡದವರ ಗೊಡವೆಗೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಡ.

22 For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?ಅವರ ವಿಪತ್ತು ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವದು; ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರ ನಾಶನವು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದೀತು?

23 These things also come from the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.ಇವು ಸಹ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ.

24 He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous, peoples shall curse him, nations shall abhor him;ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವವನನ್ನು ಜನರು ಶಪಿಸು ವರು, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೇಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

25 but to them that rebuke [him] shall be delight, and a good blessing cometh upon them.ಗದರಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಆನಂದವಾಗುವದು; ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಶುಭದಾಯಕ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವು ಬರುವದು.

26 He kisseth the lips who giveth a right answer.ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವವನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಮುದ್ದಿಡುವನು.

27 Prepare thy work without, and put thy field in order, and afterwards build thy house.ಹೊರಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸ ವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಕೊ; ಅದು ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸರಿಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊ; ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೋ.

28 Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and wouldest thou deceive with thy lips?ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮೋಸಮಾಡಬೇಡ.

29 Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me, I will render to the man according to his work.ನನಗೆ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ನಾನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಡ.

30 I went by the field of a sluggard, and by the vineyard of a man void of understanding;ಸೋಮಾರಿಯ ಹೊಲದ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೀನನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟದ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಹಾದು ಹೋದೆನು;

31 and lo, it was all grown over with thistles, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and its stone wall was broken down.ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಹೊಲವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗಿಡಗಳಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆದು ಕಳೆಗಳು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಅದರ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಯಿತು.

32 Then I looked, I took it to heart; I saw, I received instruction:ಆಗ ನಾನು ನೋಡಿ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಟ್ಟೆನು; ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿತನಾದೆನು.

33 -- A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest!ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನಿದ್ರೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ತೂಕಡಿಕೆ, ನಿದ್ರೆಗಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನು ಕೊಂಚ ಕೈ ಮುದುರಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು;

34 So shall thy poverty come [as] a roving plunderer, and thy penury as an armed man.ಹೀಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಡತನವು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೊರತೆಯು ಆಯುಧದಾರ ನಂತೆಯೂ ಬರುವವು.
