Proverbs 19 - ASV (Kannada)

1 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity Than he that is perverse in his lips and is a fool.ತನ್ನ ನಿರ್ದೋಷತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಬಡವನು ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಕ್ರತೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಉತ್ತಮ.

2 Also, that the soul be without knowledge is not good; And he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಯುಕ್ತವಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳಿಂದ ದುಡುಕುವ ವನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

3 The foolishness of man subverteth his way; And his heart fretteth against Jehovah.ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನತೆ ತನ್ನ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಉರಿಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.

4 Wealth addeth many friends; But the poor is separated from his friend.ಐಶ್ವ ರ್ಯವು ಅನೇಕ ಮಂದಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ತ್ತದೆ; ಬಡವನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಂದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪ ಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

5 A false witness shall not be unpunished; And he that uttereth lies shall not escape.ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡುವವನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರನು.

6 Many will entreat the favor of the liberal man; And every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.ಅಧಿಪ ತಿಯ ದಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಬಿನ್ನವಿಸುವರು; ದಾನಗ ಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನೇ.

7 All the brethren of the poor do hate him: How much more do his friends go far from him! He pursueth `them with' words, `but' they are gone.ಬಡವನ ಸಹೋದರರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡು ತ್ತಾರೆ. ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ತನ್ನಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ದೂರ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರಲ್ಲವೇ? ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರೂ ಅವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಾಲುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

8 He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: He that keepeth understanding shall find good.ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

9 A false witness shall not be unpunished; And he that uttereth lies shall perish.ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡುವವನು ನಾಶವಾ ಗುವನು.

10 Delicate living is not seemly for a fool; Much less for a servant to have rule over princes.ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನಿಗೆ ಆನಂದವು ಯುಕ್ತವಲ್ಲ; ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡುವದು ಸೇವಕ ನಿಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತವೇ ಅಲ್ಲ.

11 The discretion of a man maketh him slow to anger; And it is his glory to pass over a transgression.ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ವಿವೇಕವು ಅವನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ದೋಷವನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿ ಸದೆ ಇರುವದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಘನತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

12 The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; But his favor is as dew upon the grass.ಅರಸನ ಕೋಪವು ಸಿಂಹದ ಘರ್ಜನೆಯಂತಿದೆ; ಅವನ ದಯೆಯು ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯಂತಿದೆ.

13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father; And the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನಾದ ಮಗನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಹಾನಿಕ ರನು; ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಕಲಹಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ತೊಟ್ಟಿ ಕ್ಕುವ ಹನಿಗಳು.

14 House and riches are an inheritance from fathers; But a prudent wife is from Jehovah.ಮನೆಯೂ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವೂ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯವು; ವಿವೇಕಿಯಾದ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ಕರ್ತ ನಿಂದಲೇ.

15 Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; And the idle soul shall suffer hunger.ಮೈಗಳ್ಳತನವು ಗಾಢ ನಿದ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳು ಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಸೋಮಾರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಹಸಿವೆಗೊಳ್ಳು ವದು.

16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his soul; `But' he that is careless of his ways shall die.ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆಮಾಡು ವವನು ಸಾಯುವನು.

17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto Jehovah, And his good deed will he pay him again.ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ದಯೆತೋರಿಸು ವವನು. ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸಾಲ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನು ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಆತನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

18 Chasten thy son, seeing there is hope; nd set not thy heart on his destruction.ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಅವನ ಅಳುವಿಕೆಗೆ ನೀನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸದೆ ಇರು.

19 A man of great wrath shall bear the penalty; For if thou deliver `him', thou must do it yet again.ಮಹಾಕೋಪಿಷ್ಠನು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವನು; ಅವನನ್ನು ನೀನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದರೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, That thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸು. ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಯಾಗುವಿ.

21 There are many devices in a man's heart; But the counsel of Jehovah, that shall stand.ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳಿವೆ; ಆದರೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವೇ ಈಡೇರು ವದು.

22 That which maketh a man to be desired is his kindness; And a poor man is better than a liar.ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಯು ಆತನ ದಯೆಯೇ; ಬಡವನು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರನಿಗಿಂತ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು.

23 The fear of Jehovah `tendeth' to life; And he `that hath it' shall abide satisfied; He shall not be visited with evil.ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯವು ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಒಲಿಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ವನು ತೃಪ್ತನಾಗಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

24 The sluggard burieth his hand in the dish, And will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಸಹ ಅದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

25 Smite a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; And reprove one that hath understanding, `and' he will understand knowledge.ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರೆ ಮೂಢರು ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ವಿವೇಕಿಯನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ ದರೆ ಅವನು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವನು.

26 He that doeth violence to his father, and chaseth away his mother, Is a son that causeth shame and bringeth reproach.ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ನಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸುವವನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಯನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡಿ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತಾನೆ.

27 Cease, my son, to hear instruction `Only' to err from the words of knowledge.ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳದಿರು.

28 A worthless witness mocketh at justice; And the mouth of the wicked swalloweth iniquity.ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀ ನನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ಗೇಲಿಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ. ದುಷ್ಟನ ಬಾಯಿಯು ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನು ನುಂಗುವದು.

29 Judgments are prepared for scoffers, And stripes for the back of fools.ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪುಗಳೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೀನರ ಬೆನ್ನಿಗೆ ಪೆಟ್ಟುಗಳೂ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿವೆ.
