Proverbs 10 - DBY (Kannada)

1 The Proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father; but a foolish son is the grief of his mother.ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದ ಮಗನು ತಂದೆಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಯಾದ ಮಗನಾದರೋ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ.

2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; but righteousness delivereth from death.ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದ ಸಂಪತ್ತುಗಳು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀತಿಯು ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

3 Jehovah suffereth not the soul of the righteous [man] to famish; but he repelleth the craving of the wicked.ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಹಸಿವೆಗೊಳಿಸನು; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಆತನು ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ.

4 He cometh to want that dealeth with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.ಬಿಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮಾಡುವವನು ದರಿದ್ರನಾಗು ವನು; ಆದರೆ ಚುರುಕಾದ ಕೈ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.

5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son; he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸುವವನು ಬುದ್ಧಿ ವಂತನಾದ ಮಗನು ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿದ್ರೆಮಾಡುವವನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿಸುವ ಮಗನು.

6 Blessings are upon the head of a righteous [man]; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence.ನೀತಿವಂತರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳು ಇವೆ; ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟನ ಬಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವು ಮುಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ.

7 The memory of the righteous [man] shall be blessed; but the name of the wicked shall rot.ನೀತಿ ವಂತರ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯು ಧನ್ಯಕರವಾಗಿದೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಹೆಸರು ಕೊಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.

8 The wise in heart receiveth commandments; but a prating fool shall fall.ಜ್ಞಾನ ಹೃದಯದವರು ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವರು. ಹರಟೆಯ ಮೂರ್ಖನು ಬೀಳುವನು.

9 He that walketh in integrity walketh securely; but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವವನು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಡೊಂಕು ಮಾಡು ತ್ತಿರುವವನು ಬಯಲಿಗೆ ಬರುವನು.

10 He that winketh with the eye causeth grief, and a prating fool shall fall.ಕಣ್ಣು ಮಿಟಕಿ ಸುವವನು ದುಃಖವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಹರಟೆಯ ಮೂರ್ಖನು ಬೀಳುವನು.

11 The mouth of a righteous [man] is a fountain of life; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence.ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಬಾಯಿ ಯು ಜೀವಕರವಾದ ಬಾವಿ; ದುಷ್ಟನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವು ಮುಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ.

12 Hatred stirreth up strifes; but love covereth all transgressions.ದ್ವೇಷವು ಜಗಳಗಳನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚು ತ್ತದೆ.

13 In the lips of an intelligent [man] wisdom is found; but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.ವಿವೇಕವುಳ್ಳ ತುಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಸಿಕ್ಕು ತ್ತದೆ; ವಿವೇಕವಿಲ್ಲದವನ ಬೆನ್ನಿಗೆ ಬೆತ್ತವೇ ಸರಿ.

14 The wise lay up knowledge; but the mouth of the fool is near destruction.ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಗಳು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ಮೂರ್ಖನ ಬಾಯಿ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿದೆ.

15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city; the destruction of the poor is their poverty.ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಅವನ ಬಲವಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ; ಬಡವರ ನಾಶನವು ಅವರ ಬಡತನವೇ.

16 The labour of a righteous [man] [tendeth] to life; the revenue of a wicked [man], to sin.ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಪ್ರಯಾಸವು ಜೀವಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಫಲವು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವೆ.

17 Keeping instruction is the path to life; but he that forsaketh reproof goeth astray.ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಜೀವನದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ಗದರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವವನು ತಪ್ಪುಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

18 He that covereth hatred hath lying lips, and he that sendeth forth a slander is a fool.ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡುವ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹಗೆಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡ ವನೂ ಚಾಡಿಹೇಳುವವನೂ ಮೂರ್ಖನು.

19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not transgression; but he that restraineth his lips doeth wisely.ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊರತೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವವನು ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತನು.

20 The tongue of the righteous [man] is [as] choice silver; the heart of the wicked is little worth.ನೀತಿ ವಂತರ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಂತಿದೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಹೃದಯವು ಅಲ್ಪವಾದದ್ದು.

21 The lips of a righteous [man] feed many; but fools die for want of understanding.ನೀತಿವಂತರ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಅವಿವೇಕಿಗಳು ಸಾಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.

22 The blessing of Jehovah, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow to it.ಕರ್ತನ ಆರ್ಶೀ ವಾದವು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವದು. ಅದ ರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಯಾವ ದುಃಖವನ್ನೂ ಸೇರಿಸುವ ದಿಲ್ಲ.

23 It is as sport to a foolish [man] to do wickedness; but a man of understanding hath wisdom.ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡುವದು ಹಾಸ್ಯಾ ಸ್ಪದವಾಗಿದೆ; ಆದರೆ ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವಿದೆ.

24 The fear of a wicked [man], it shall come upon him; but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.ದುಷ್ಟನ ಭಯವು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವದು; ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಇಷ್ಟವು ಸಫಲವಾಗುವದು.

25 As a whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no [more]; but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.ಹೇಗೆ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ಬೀಸುವದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದುಷ್ಟರು ಇಲ್ಲವಾಗುವರು. ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರ ವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹುಳಿಯೂ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಗೆಯೂ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು ವವರಿಗೆ ಸೋಮಾರಿಯೂ ಇರುವನು.

27 The fear of Jehovah prolongeth days; but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯವು ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ವರುಷ ಗಳು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವವು.

28 The hope of the righteous is joy; but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.ನೀತಿವಂತರ ನಿರೀ ಕ್ಷೆಯು ಆನಂದಕರವಾಗಿರುವದು; ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ನಾಶವಾಗುವದು.

29 The way of Jehovah is strength to the perfect [man], but destruction to the workers of iniquity.ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಬಲವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮಾಡುವ ವರಿಗೆ ಅದು ನಾಶನವಾಗಿರುವದು.

30 The righteous [man] shall never be moved; but the wicked shall not inhabit the land.ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕದಲುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ದುಷ್ಟರು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

31 The mouth of a righteous [man] putteth forth wisdom; but the froward tongue shall be cut out.ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಬಾಯಿಯು ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಫಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಮೂರ್ಖನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು.

32 The lips of a righteous [man] know what is acceptable; but the mouth of the wicked is frowardness.ಯಾವದು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸ ತಕ್ಕದ್ದೋ ಅದು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯು ವದು; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಬಾಯಿಯು ಮೂರ್ಖತನವನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆಡುವುತ್ತದೆ.
