1 When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.ಆತನು ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಾಗ ಜನರು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹಗಳಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು.

2 Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean."ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯು ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲೆ ಅಂದನು.

3 Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I want to. Be made clean." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ--ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಂಟು; ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗು ಅಂದನು. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವನ ಕುಷ್ಠವು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾದನು.

4 Jesus said to him, "See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ ನೋಡು; ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

5 When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him,ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--

6 and saying, "Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented."ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ರೋಗದಿಂದ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಟಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಮನೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.

7 Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

8 The centurion answered, "Lord, I'm not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆ ಯೊಳಗೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೇಳು, ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗುವನು.

9 For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and tell another, 'Come,' and he comes; and tell my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಇವನಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗು ಅಂದರೆ ಇವನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ--ಬಾ ಅಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ--ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಮಾ

10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, "Most assuredly I tell you, I haven't found so great a faith, not even in Israel.ಯೇಸು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಇಂಥಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

11 I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಂದು ಪರ ಲೋಕರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ್‌ ಇಸಾಕ್‌ ಯಾಕೋಬ್‌ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

12 but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and the gnashing of teeth."ಆದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಬ್ಬಲ್ಪಡುವರು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಳಾಟವೂ ಹಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿಯೋಣವೂ ಇರುವವು.

13 Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed." His servant was healed in that hour.ಯೇಸು ಆ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗು, ನೀನು ನಂಬಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನಿನಗಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನು ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದನು.

14 When Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever.ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಪೇತ್ರನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ತಾಯಿಯು ಜ್ವರದಿಂದ ಮಲಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.

15 He touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him.{TR reads "them" instead of "him"}ಆತನು ಆಕೆಯ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಜ್ವರವು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು; ಮತ್ತು ಆಕೆಯು ಎದ್ದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದಳು.

16 When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick;ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವಾದಾಗ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಬಹಳ ಜನರನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು; ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥವಾಗಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases."ಹೀಗೆ--ಆತನು ತಾನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಲಹೀನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತನು ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನಿಂದ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಇದಾಯಿತು.

18 Now when Jesus saw great multitudes around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.ಇದಾದಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆಚೆಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

19 A scribe came, and said to him, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯು ಬಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿ ಸುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

20 Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head."ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುದ್ದುಗಳಿವೆ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೂಡು ಗಳಿವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯಿಡು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಥಳವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

21 Another of his disciples said to him, "Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father."ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟು ಬರುವಂತೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

22 But Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead."ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು; ಸತ್ತವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

23 When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.ಆತನು ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು.

24 Behold, a great tempest arose in the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep.ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ತುಫಾನು ಎದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ದೋಣಿಯು ತೆರೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು; ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ನಿದ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

25 They came to him, and woke him up, saying, "Save us, Lord! We are dying!"ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ--ಕರ್ತನೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ನಾವು ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.

26 He said to them, "Why are you fearful, oh you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಓ ಅಲ್ಪ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ನೀವು ಯಾಕೆ ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಎದ್ದು ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಗದರಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಾಂತತೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.

27 The men marveled, saying, "What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯದಿಂದ--ಈತನು ಎಂಥಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನಾಗಿರಬಹುದು! ಗಾಳಿಯೂ ಸಮುದ್ರವೂ ಈತನಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯವಾಗುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದರು.

28 When he came to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass by that way.ಆತನು ಆಚೆಯ ದಡದ ಗದರೇನರ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸಮಾಧಿ ಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಆತನ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಅವರು ಬಹು ಉಗ್ರತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನೂ ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.

29 Behold, they cried out, saying, "What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?"ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು--ಯೇಸುವೇ, ದೇವ ಕುಮಾರನೇ, ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಗೊಡವೆ ಏನು? ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಕಟಪಡಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದೆಯಾ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

30 Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.ಆಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಹು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪು ಮೇಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

31 The demons begged him, saying, "If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs."ಆದದರಿಂದ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕುವದಾದರೆ ಆ ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪಿನೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡವು.

32 He said to them, "Go!" They came out, and went into the herd of pigs: and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea, and died in the water.ಆತನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪಿನೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡವು; ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಹಂದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಡಿದಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಉಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತು ಹೋದವು.

33 Those who fed them fled, and went away into the city, and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

34 Behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಪಟ್ಟಣದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದರು; ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
