1 He called to himself his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದು ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರವಾದ ರೋಗವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರವಾದ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡು ವಂತೆಯೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these. The first, Simon, who is called Peter; Andrew, his brother; James the son of Zebedee; John, his brother;ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು: ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು ಪೇತ್ರನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸೀಮೋನ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಂದ್ರೆಯ, ಜೆಬೆದಾಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನ,

3 Philip; Bartholomew; Thomas; Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus; and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪ, ಬಾರ್ತೊ ಲೊಮಾಯ, ತೋಮ, ಸುಂಕದವನಾದ ಮತ್ತಾಯ ಅಲ್ಫಾಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬ, ತದ್ದಾಯನೆಂಬ ಅಡ್ಡ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಲೆಬ್ಬಾಯ,

4 Simon the Canaanite; and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.ಕಾನಾನ್ಯನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಟ್ಟ ಯೂದ ಇಸ್ಕರಿಯೋತ ಎಂಬಿವುಗಳೇ.

5 Jesus sent these twelve out, and charged them, saying, "Don't go among the Gentiles, and don't enter into any city of the Samaritans.ಯೇಸು ಈ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿ ಸುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂ ದರೆ--ಅನ್ಯಜನರ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾರ್ಯರ ಯಾವ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀವು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ.

6 Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.ಆದರೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಕುರಿಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೋಗಿರಿ.

7 As you go, preach, saying, 'The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!'ನೀವು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ-- ಪರಲೋಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಸಮಾಪವಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ.

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers{TR adds ", raise the dead"}, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿರಿ, ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ; ನೀವು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಉಚಿತ ವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಿರಿ.

9 Don't take any gold, nor silver, nor brass in your money belts.ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಮ್ಮಾಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಗಾರ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ.

10 Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor shoes, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಸಿಬೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಎರಡು ಮೇಲಂಗಿಗಳ ನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಕೆರಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ತಕ್ಕೊ ಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

11 Into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy; and stay there until you go on.ನೀವು ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳ ಗಾಗಲೀ ಊರೊಳಗಾಗಲೀ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಾಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಯೋಗ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿ ಸಿರಿ; ಮತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡಿರ್ರಿ;

12 As you enter into the household, greet it.ನೀವು ಒಂದು ಮನೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಂದಿಸಿರಿ.

13 If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it isn't worthy, let your peace return to you.ಆ ಮನೆಯು ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಲಿ; ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಅಯೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಲಿ.

14 Whoever doesn't receive you, nor hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake off the dust from your feet.ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನೀವು ಆ ಮನೆಯಿಂದಾಗಲೀ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದಾಗಲೀ ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಗಳ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ಝಾಡಿಸಿ ಬಿಡಿರಿ.

15 Most assuredly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ--ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಸೊದೋಮ್‌ ಗೊಮೋರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಗತಿಯು ತಾಳಬಹುದಾಗಿರುವದು.

16 "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.ಇಗೋ, ತೋಳಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳು ಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಸರ್ಪಗಳಂತೆ ಜಾಣರೂ ಪಾರಿವಾಳಗಳಂತೆ ನಿಷ್ಕಪಟಿಗಳಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.

17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.ಆದರೆ ಜನರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚ ರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಸಭಾ ಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊರಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯು ವರು.

18 Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಧಿ ಕಾರಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಸುಗಳ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಿಗೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗುವದು.

19 But when they deliver you up, don't be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ ನೀವು ಹೇಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಏನು ಮಾತನಾಡ ಬೇಕೆಂಬದಾಗಿ ಯೋಚಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಏನು ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬದು ಆ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು.

20 For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಮಾತನಾಡು ವವರು ನೀವಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಆತ್ಮನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

21 "Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.ಸಹೋದರನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನೂ ತಂದೆಯು ಮಗನನ್ನೂ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು; ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸುವರು.

22 You will be hated by all men for my name's sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವರು; ಆದರೆ ಕಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ತಾಳುವವನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವನು.

23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next, for most assuredly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel, until the Son of Man has come.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದರೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ-- ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರನು ಬರುವದರೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಮುಗಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

24 "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.ಗುರುವಿಗಿಂತ ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವನಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸೇವಕನು ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವನಲ್ಲ.

25 It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಗುರುವಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಸೇವಕನು ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಂತೆಯೂ ಇರುವದು ಸಾಕು; ಮನೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನೇ ಅವರು ಬೆಲ್ಜೆಬೂಲನೆಂದು ಕರೆದರೆ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯುವರಲ್ಲವೇ?

26 Therefore don't be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲ್ಪಡದಂತೆ ಯಾವದೂ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ತಿಳಿಯಲ್ಪಡದಂತೆ ಯಾವದೂ ಮರೆಯಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

27 What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವದನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೋ ಅದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರಿ; ನೀವು ಕಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವದನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೀರೋ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾರಿರಿ.

28 Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವರಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಶಕ್ತರಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಆತ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಶರೀರ ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ನರಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಲು ಶಕ್ತನಾಗಿರು ವಾತನಿಗೇ ಭಯಪಡಿರಿ.

29 "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion{An assarion is a small coin worth one tenth of a drachma or a sixteenth of a denarius (approximately the wages of one half hour of agricultural labor).}? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will,ಒಂದು ಕಾಸಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ಗುಬ್ಬಿಗಳು ಮಾರಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ; ಆದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಚಿತ್ತವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

30 but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.

31 Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.ನೀವು ಬಹಳ ಗುಬ್ಬಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಬಹು ಬೆಲೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.

32 Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಾನು ಸಹ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು;

33 But whoever denies me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆದರೆ ಪರಲೋಕ ದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾನೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವೆನು.

34 "Don't think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn't come to send peace, but a sword.ನಾನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದೆನೆಂದು ನೆನಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಖಡ್ಗ ವನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ;

35 For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.ಹೇಗಂದರೆ ಮಗನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಗೂ ಮಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಕೆಯ ತಾಯಿಗೂ ಸೊಸೆಗೂ ಆಕೆಯ ಅತ್ತೆಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

36 A man's foes will be those of his own household.ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಮನೆ ಯವರೇ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವರು.

37 He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn't worthy of me.ನನಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡುವವನು ನನಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ; ಮತ್ತು ಮಗನ ನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಮಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ನನಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡುವವನು ನನಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ.

38 He who doesn't take his cross and follow after me, isn't worthy of me.ತನ್ನ ಶಿಲುಬೆ ಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವವನು ನನಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ.

39 He who finds his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

40 He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾತನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet's reward: and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward.ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಯನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವವನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ವನ್ನು ಪಡಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವವನು ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

42 Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most assuredly I tell you he will in no way lose his reward."ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಶಿಷ್ಯನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಾದ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ತಂಬಿಗೆ ತಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
