ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯಬಾರದು. ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಸಾರಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸು ವೆನು. ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಒಣಗುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಂಜು ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
