John 13 - YLT (Kannada)

1 And before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing that his hour hath come, that he may remove out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own who `are' in the world -- to the end he loved them.1 ಆಗ ಪಸ್ಕ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮುಂಚೆ ಯೇಸು ತಾನು ಈ ಲೋಕದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾದ ತನ್ನ ಗಳಿಗೆಯು ಬಂತೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತದವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದನು.

2 And supper being come, the devil already having put `it' into the heart of Judas of Simon, Iscariot, that he may deliver him up,ಊಟವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂಬದನ್ನು ಸೀಮೋ ನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೂದ ಇಸ್ಕರಿಯೋತನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈತಾನನು ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.

3 Jesus knowing that all things the Father hath given to him -- into `his' hands, and that from God he came forth, and unto God he goeth,ತಂದೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆಂತಲೂ ತಾನು ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆಂತಲೂ ಯೇಸು ತಿಳಿದು ಕೊಂಡು

4 doth rise from the supper, and doth lay down his garments, and having taken a towel, he girded himself;ಊಟದಿಂದೆದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಉಡುಪುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದಿಟ್ಟು ಕೈ ಪಾವಡವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ನಡುವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡನು.

5 afterward he putteth water into the basin, and began to wash the feet of his disciples, and to wipe with the towel with which he was being girded.ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಬೋಗುಣಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ತಾನು ನಡುವಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡ ಕೈ ಪಾವಡದಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒರಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.

6 He cometh, therefore, unto Simon Peter, and that one saith to him, `Sir, thou -- dost thou wash my feet?'ಆತನು ಸೀಮೋನ ಪೇತ್ರನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯುತ್ತೀಯೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿ ದನು.

7 Jesus answered and said to him, `That which I do thou hast not known now, but thou shalt know after these things;'ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವದು ಏನೆಂದು ಈಗ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವದು ಅಂದನು.

8 Peter saith to him, `Thou mayest not wash my feet -- to the age.' Jesus answered him, `If I may not wash thee, thou hast no part with me;'ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ತೊಳೆಯಬಾರದು ಅಂದನು; ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯ ದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಪಾಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

9 Simon Peter saith to him, `Sir, not my feet only, but also the hands and the head.'ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮೋನ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆತ ನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ತೊಳೆ ಅಂದನು.

10 Jesus saith to him, `He who hath been bathed hath no need save to wash his feet, but he is clean altogether; and ye are clean, but not all;'ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವನು ತನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತೇನೂ ತೊಳೆಯುವದು ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನೀವು ಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಆದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

11 for he knew him who is delivering him up; because of this he said, `Ye are not all clean.'ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಡುವ ವನು ಯಾರೆಂದು ಆತನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ--ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಶುದ್ಧರಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

12 When, therefore, he washed their feet, and took his garments, having reclined (at meat) again, he said to them, `Do ye know what I have done to you?ಆತನು ಅವರ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಉಡುಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಏನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಿತೋ?

13 ye call me, The Teacher and The Lord, and ye say well, for I am;ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೋಧ ಕನು ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ತನು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತೀರಿ; ನೀವು ಹೇಳುವದು ಸರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಅಂಥವನೇ ಹೌದು.

14 if then I did wash your feet -- the Lord and the Teacher -- ye also ought to wash one another's feet.ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನೂ ಬೋಧಕನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದರೆ ನೀವು ಸಹ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ತೊಳೆಯತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.

15 `For an example I gave to you, that, according as I did to you, ye also may do;ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನೀವು ಸಹ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

16 verily, verily, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his lord, nor an apostle greater than he who sent him;ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ--ತನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಿಗಿಂತ ಸೇವಕನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದವನಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡವನಲ್ಲ.

17 if these things ye have known, happy are ye, if ye may do them;ನೀವು ಇವು ಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡು ಇದರಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನೀವು ಧನ್ಯರು.

18 not concerning you all do I speak; I have known whom I chose for myself; but that the Writing may be fulfilled: He who is eating the bread with me, did lift up against me his heel.ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ ನಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ಆದರೆ--ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂಬ ಬರಹವು ನೆರವೇರಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

19 `From this time I tell you, before its coming to pass, that, when it may come to pass, ye may believe that I am `he';ಅದು ಆಗುವಾಗ ನಾನೇ ಆತನೆಂದು ನೀವು ನಂಬುವಂತೆ ಅದು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಈಗಲೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

20 verily, verily, I say to you, he who is receiving whomsoever I may send, doth receive me; and he who is receiving me, doth receive Him who sent me.'ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ--ನಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದವನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸು ವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿ ಸುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾತನನ್ನೇ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿ ಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

21 These things having said, Jesus was troubled in the spirit, and did testify, and said, `Verily, verily, I say to you, that one of you will deliver me up;'ಯೇಸು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳವಳ ಗೊಂಡು ಸಾಕ್ಷೀಕರಿಸಿ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

22 the disciples were looking, therefore, one at another, doubting concerning whom he speaketh.ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅನುಮಾನದಿಂದ ಈತನು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದನೆಂದು ಒಬ್ಬರನೊಬ್ಬರು ನೋಡಿದರು.

23 And there was one of his disciples reclining (at meat) in the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus was loving;ಶಿಷ್ಯ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಆತನ ಎದೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಒರಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.

24 Simon Peter, then, doth beckon to this one, to inquire who he may be concerning whom he speaketh,ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸೀಮೋನ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಆತನು ಯಾರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

25 and that one having leant back on the breast of Jesus, respondeth to him, `Sir, who is it?'ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಎದೆಯಮೇಲೆ ಒರಗಿಕೊಂಡು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅವನು ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

26 Jesus answereth, `That one it is to whom I, having dipped the morsel, shall give it;' and having dipped the morsel, he giveth `it' to Judas of Simon, Iscariot.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು--ನಾನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ತುಂಡನ್ನು ಅದ್ದಿ ಯಾವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೋ ಅವನೇ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ತುಂಡನ್ನು ಅದ್ದಿ ಆತನು ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೂದ ಇಸ್ಕರಿಯೋತನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

27 And after the morsel, then the Adversary entered into that one, Jesus, therefore, saith to him, `What thou dost -- do quickly;'ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ತುಂಡನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೈತಾನನು ಅವನೊಳಗೆ ಹೊಕ್ಕನು. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಮಾಡುವ ದನ್ನು ಬೇಗನೆ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

28 and none of those reclining at meat knew for what intent he said this to him,ಆತನು ಯೂದನಿಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಉದ್ದೇಶವೇನೆಂದು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

29 for certain were thinking, since Judas had the bag, that Jesus saith to him, `Buy what we have need of for the feast;' or that he may give something to the poor;ಯೂದನು ಹಣದ ಚೀಲವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡ ದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೋ ಎಂತಲೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಕೊಡು ಎಂತಲೋ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದನೆಂದು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ನೆನಸಿದರು.

30 having received, therefore, the morsel, that one immediately went forth, and it was night.ಯೂದನು ಆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ತುಂಡನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದನು; ಆಗ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.

31 When, therefore, he went forth, Jesus saith, `Now was the Son of Man glorified, and God was glorified in him;ಅವನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು-- ಈಗ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ದೇವರು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಮೆಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

32 if God was glorified in him, God also will glorify him in Himself; yea, immediately He will glorify him.ದೇವರು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಮೆಪಟ್ಟಿರಲಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ಸಹ ಆತನನ್ನು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸುವನು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸುವನು.

33 `Little children, yet a little am I with you; ye will seek me, and, according as I said to the Jews -- Whither I go away, ye are not able to come, to you also I do say `it' now.ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲವೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಹೋಗುವಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಬರಲಾರಿರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನಿಮಗೂ ಈಗ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

34 `A new commandment I give to you, that ye love one another; according as I did love you, that ye also love one another;ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವೂ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು.

35 in this shall all know that ye are my disciples, if ye may have love one to another.'ಒಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿದ್ದರೆ ಇದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

36 Simon Peter saith to him, `Sir, whither dost thou go away?' Jesus answered him, `Whither I go away, thou art not able now to follow me, but afterward thou shalt follow me.'ಸೀಮೋನ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀ? ಅನ್ನಲು ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಹೋಗುವಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಈಗ ಬರಲಾರಿ; ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವಿ ಅಂದನು.

37 Peter saith to him, `Sir, wherefore am I not able to follow thee now? my life for thee I will lay down;'ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆತನಿಗೆ-- ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಯಾಕೆ ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರ ಲಾರೆನು? ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

38 Jesus answered him, `Thy life for me thou wilt lay down! verily, verily, I say to thee, a cock will not crow till thou mayest deny me thrice.'ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ತ್ತೀಯೋ? ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವ ತನಕ ಹುಂಜವು ಕೂಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
