1 Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,ಕೈಸರೈಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತಾಲ್ಯದ ಪಟಾಲಮೆನಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಒಂದು ಪಟಾಲಮಿನ ಶತಾ ಧಿಪತಿ ಯಾದ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನಿದ್ದನು.

2 a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.ಅವನು ಭಕ್ತನೂ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ದಾನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು.

3 At about the ninth hour of the day{3:00 PM}, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, "Cornelius!"ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂಭತ್ತನೆಯ ತಾಸಿಗೆ (ಮೂರು ಘಂಟೆಗೆ) ಅವನಿಗಾದ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೇವದೂತನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಕೊರ್ನೇ ಲ್ಯನೇ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವದನ್ನು ಅವನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡನು.

4 He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, "What is it, Lord?" He said to him, "Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.ಅವನು ಆ ದೂತನನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ ಭಯಹಿಡಿದವನಾಗಿ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇದೇನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ದೂತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾನಗಳೂ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೇರಿ ಬಂದವು.

5 Now send men to Joppa, and get Simon, who is surnamed Peter.ಈಗ ನೀನು ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಪೇತ್ರನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸೀಮೋನ ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಬೇಕು.

6 He lodges with one Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the seaside.{TR adds "This one will tell you what it is necessary for you to do."}"ಅವನು ಚರ್ಮಕಾರನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಈ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮನೆಯು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ನೀನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

7 When the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those who waited on him continually.ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದೂತನು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಪರಿಚಾರಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೈನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೇವಭಕ್ತ ನನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದು

8 Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಿವರ ವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

9 Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.ಮರುದಿನ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಆ ಊರಿನ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಸುಮಾರು ಆರನೇ ತಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ (ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಘಂಟೆಗೆ) ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದನು.

10 He became hungry and desired to eat, but while they were preparing, he fell into a trance.ಅವನು ಬಹಳ ಹಸಿದು ಊಟಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದನು; ಅವರು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಪರವಶ ನಾಗಿ

11 He saw heaven opened and a certain container descending to him, like a great sheet let down by four corners on the earth,ಆಕಾಶವು ತೆರೆದಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಯಂತಿರುವ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮೂಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜೋಳಿಗೆಯು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಇಳಿಯುವದನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡನು.

12 in which were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, reptiles, and birds of the sky.ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿ ರುವ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕಾಲುಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರವಾದ ಪಶು ಗಳೂ ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳೂ ಹರಿದಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಕೀಟ ಗಳೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಇದ್ದವು.

13 A voice came to him, "Rise, Peter, kill and eat!"ಆಗ--ಪೇತ್ರನೇ, ಎದ್ದು ಕೊಯ್ದು ತಿನ್ನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಒಂದು ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು.

14 But Peter said, "Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean."ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ, ನಾನೆಂದೂ ಹೊಲೆಯಾದ ಪದಾರ್ಥವನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಪದಾ ರ್ಥವನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ತಿಂದವನಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

15 A voice came to him again the second time, "What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean."ದೇವರು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಹೊಲೆಯೆನ್ನಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು.

16 This was done three times, and immediately the vessel was received up into heaven.ಹೀಗೆ ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಆಯಿತು. ತರು ವಾಯ ಆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯು ಪುನಃ ಆಕಾಶದೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಕೊಂಡಿತು.

17 Now while Peter was very perplexed in himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood before the gate,ಪೇತ್ರನು ತನಗಾದ ಈ ದರ್ಶನವು ಏನಾಗಿರ ಬಹುದೆಂದು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೇಹಪಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಸೀಮೋ ನನ ಮನೆ ಯಾವದು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು

18 and called and asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, was lodging there.ಪೇತ್ರನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸೀಮೋನನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೋ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದರು.

19 While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Behold, three{Reading from TR and NU. MT omits "three"} men seek you.ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆ ದರ್ಶನದ ವಿಷಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರಲು ಆತ್ಮನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ಅಗೋ, ಮೂವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ;

20 But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them."ನೀನೆದ್ದು ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದು ಏನೂ ಸಂಶಯಪಡದೆ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗು; ನಾನೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

21 Peter went down to the men, and said, "Behold, I am he whom you seek. Why have you come?"ಪೇತ್ರನು ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದು ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಇಗೋ, ನೀವು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವವನು ನಾನೇ; ನೀವು ಬಂದ ಕಾರಣವೇನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು

22 They said, "Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the nation of the Jews, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say."ಅವರು--ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡು ವವನೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗದವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಂದ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಹೆಸರು ಹೊಂದಿದವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೂತ

23 So he called them in and lodged them. On the next day Peter arose and went out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಸತ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಮರುದಿನ ಅವನು ಎದ್ದು ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಟನು; ಯೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಅವನ ಕೂಡ ಹೋದರು.

24 On the next day they entered into Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends.ಮರುದಿನ ವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಕೈಸರೈಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದರು. ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಬಂಧುಬಳಗದವರನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಮಿತ್ರರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

25 When it happened that Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.ಪೇತ್ರನು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದನು.

26 But Peter raised him up, saying, "Stand up! I myself am also a man."ಆದರೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು --ಏಳು, ನಾನು ಸಹ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ

27 As he talked with him, he went in and found many gathered together.ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಮನೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ಜನರು ಕೂಡಿಬಂದಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು

28 He said to them, "You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I shouldn't call any man unholy or unclean.ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನಾಗಿರುವವನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗದವ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಕೂಡ ಹೊಕ್ಕು ಬಳಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುವದಾಗಲೀ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದಾಗಲೀ ನ್ಯಾಯವಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲಿರಷ್ಟೆ. ನನಗಂತೂ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನಾ ದರೂ ಹೊಲೆಯನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧನು ಅನ್ನಬಾರ ದೆಂದು ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿ

29 Therefore also I came without complaint when I was sent for. I ask therefore, why did you send for me?"ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಾನು ಯಾವ ಎದುರು ಮಾತನ್ನೂ ಹೇಳದೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಬಂದೆನು. ಈಗ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿದ ಉದ್ದೇಶವೇನು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

30 Cornelius said, "Four days ago, I was fasting until this hour, and at the ninth hour,{3:00 P. M.} I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು--ನಾನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಈ ಗಳಿಗೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಉಪವಾಸವಿದ್ದು ಒಂಭತ್ತನೆಯ ತಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ (ಮೂರು ಘಂಟೆಗೆ) ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿಗೆ ನಿಂತು ಕೊಂಡು--

31 and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಕೇಳಬಂತು. ನಿನ್ನ ದಾನಗಳು ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬಂದವು.

32 Send therefore to Joppa, and summon Simon, who is surnamed Peter. He lodges in the house of Simon a tanner, by the seaside. When he comes, he will speak to you.'ಅದಕಾರಣ ನೀನು ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಪೇತ್ರನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸೀಮೋನನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಬೇಕು; ಅವನು ಚರ್ಮಕಾರನಾದ ಸೀಮೋ ನನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆ ಮನೆ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಅವನು ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

33 Therefore I sent to you at once, and it was good of you to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God to hear all things that have been commanded you by God."ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ತಡಮಾಡದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆನು. ನೀನು ಬಂದದ್ದು ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಯಿತು. ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರು ಈಗ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಂದನು.

34 Peter opened his mouth and said, "Truly I perceive that God doesn't show favoritism;ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ದೇವರು ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತಿ ಅಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

35 but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೊಂದು ಜನಾಂಗದವರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವವನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾ ಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

36 The word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ--he is Lord of all--ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇವರು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; (ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.)

37 that spoken word you yourselves know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;ಯೋಹಾನನು ಸಾರಿದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮದ ತರುವಾಯ ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಗಲಿಲಾಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಯೂದಾಯದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಯಿ ತೆಂಬದನ್ನೂ

38 even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.ದೇವರು ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೂ ಬಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ ನೆಂಬದನ್ನೂ ಹೇಗೆ ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸೈತಾನನಿಂದ ಬಾಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಗುಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದನೆಂಬದನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನು.

39 We are witnesses of everything he did both in the country of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they also{TR omits "also"} killed, hanging him on a tree.ಆತನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತೂಗಹಾಕಿಕೊಂದರು;

40 God raised him up the third day, and gave him to be revealed,ದೇವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

41 not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.ದೇವರು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ತೋರ್ಪಡಿ ಸದೆ ಆತನು ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ನಮಗೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ ದನು. ಆತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾವು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದೆವು.

42 He charged us to preach to the people and to testify that this is he who is appointed by God as the Judge of the living and the dead.ಆತನೇ ಜೀವಿತರಿಗೂ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನೇಮಕವಾದವನೆಂಬದನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸಾರಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ದೇವರು ನಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

43 All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins."ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿ ಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಪ ಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನೆಂದು ಆತನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳೆಲ್ಲರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಅಂದನು.

44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.ಪೇತ್ರನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಪವಿ ತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ಇಳಿದನು.

45 They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the Gentiles.ಪೇತ್ರನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿದವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ಸುರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅತ್ಯಾ ಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

46 For they heard them speaking in other languages and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು--

47 "Can any man forbid the water, that these who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we should not be baptized?"ನಮ್ಮ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಇವರಿಗೆ ನೀರಿನ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮವಾಗದಂತೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರ ಮಾಡಾರೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ--

48 He commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay some days.ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವು ದಿವಸ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
