உடனே கிதியோன் உள்ளே போய், ஒரு வெள்ளாட்டுக்குட்டியையும் ஒரு மரக்கால் மாவிலே புளிப்பில்லாத் அப்பங்களையும் ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி, இறைச்சியை ஒரு கூடையில் வைத்து, ஆனத்தை ஒரு கிண்ணத்தில் வார்த்து, அதை வெளியே கர்வாலிமரத்தின் கீழிருக்கிற அவரிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து வைத்தான்.

கிதியோன் உள்ளே சென்று, ஒரு வெள்ளாட்டுக்குட்டியை சமைத்தான். 20 பவுண்டு மாவை எடுத்துப் புளிப்பின்றி அப்பம் செய்தான். இறைச்சியை ஒரு கூடையிலும், அது வேகப் பயன்படுத்திய தண்ணீரை ஒரு பானையிலும் எடுத்துக் கொண்டான். இறைச்சியையும், இறைச்சியை வேகவைத்த தண்ணீரையும், புளிப்பற்ற அப்பத்தையும் கிதியோன் கொண்டு வந்தான். கர்வாலி மரத்தின் கீழே அமர்ந்திருந்த கர்த்தருக்கு அந்த உணவைக் கிதியோன் கொடுத்தான்.
