அப்படியே அக்காலத்தில் பென்யமீனர் திரும்ப வந்தார்கள்; கீலேயாத்திலிருக்கிற யாபேசின் ஸ்திரீகளில் உயிரோடே வைத்த பெண்களை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அப்படிச் செய்தும் அவர்கள் தொகைக்குக் காணாதிருந்தது.

எனவே, அக்காலத்தில் பென்யமீனர்கள் திரும்ப வந்தார்கள்; கீலேயாத்திலிருக்கிற யாபேசின் பெண்களில் உயிரோடு வைத்த பெண்களை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அப்படிச் செய்தும் அவர்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் பெண்கள் போதாமலிருந்தது.

எனவே பென்யமீன் மனிதர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலுக்குத் திரும்பி வந்தனர். கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள யாபேசில் கொல்லாமல் விட்ட பெண்களை அவர்களுக்கு இஸ்ரவேலர் கொடுத்தனர். ஆனால் பென்யமீன் மனிதருக்கு வேண்டிய எண்ணிக்கைக்குப் பெண்கள் போதவில்லை.

உடனே பென்யமின் புதல்வர் அங்குத் திரும்பி வந்தனர். இஸ்ரயேலர் கிலயாதைச் சார்ந்த யாபேசில் உயிருடன் இருந்த பெண்களை அவர்களுக்கு மணமுடித்துக் கொடுத்தனர். ஆனால், அவர்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் மணமுடித்துக் கொடுக்க பெண்களின் எண்ணிக்கை போதுமானதாக இல்லை.⒫

And Benjamin came again at that time; and they gave them wives which they had saved alive of the women of Jabeshgilead: and yet so they sufficed them not.
