சீகோன் இஸ்ரவேலரை நம்பாததினால், தன் எல்லையைக் கடந்துபோகிறதற்கு இடங்கொடாமல் தன் ஜனங்களையெல்லாம் கூட்டி, யாகாசிலே பாளயமிறங்கி, இஸ்ரவேலரோடே யுத்தம் பண்ணினான்.
