கெதலியா கொலை செய்யப்பட்ட அந்நாளுக்குப் பிறகு, 80 பேர் மிஸ்பாவுக்கு வந்தனர். அவர்கள் தானியக் காணிக்கைகளையும் நறுமணப் பொருட்களையும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குக் கொண்டு வந்தனர். அந்த 80 பேரும் தங்கள் தாடிகளை சிரைத்திருந்தனர், தம் ஆடைகளைக் கிழித்திருந்தனர், தம்மைத்தாமே காயப்படுத்தியிருந்தனர். அவர்கள் சீகேம், சீலோ, சமாரியா ஆகிய இடங்களிலிருந்து வந்தனர். அவர்களில் எவருக்கும் கெதலியா கொலை செய்யப்பட்டது தெரியாது.
