Proverbs 5 - KJV (Gujarati)

1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:મારા દીકરા, મારા ડહાપણને સાંભળજે અને મારા શાણા શિક્ષણ પર ધ્યાન આપજે.

2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.જેથી કરીને તારી વિવેકબુદ્ધિ જળવાઇ રહે, અને તારી વાણીમાં જ્ઞાન આવે.

3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:કારણ કે અજાણી સ્ત્રીના હોઠોમાંથી મધ ટપકે છે. અને તેની વાણી તેલ કરતા સુંવાળી હોય છે.

4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.પણ તેનો અંત વિષ જેવો કડવો અને બેધારી તરવાર જેવો તીક્ષ્ણ હોય છે.

5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.તેણીના પગ મૃત્યુ સુધી પહોંચે છે અને તેણીનાં પગલાં શેઓલમાં પહોંચે છે.

6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.તેણી સાચા રસ્તે જવાની મનાઇ કરે છે અને તેણીને ખબર નથી કે પોતાના માગેર્થી તેણી રખડી પડશે.

7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.તેથી મારા પુત્રો, મારી વાત સાંભળો, અને હું જે કહું છું તેનાથી દૂર થઇશ નહિ.

8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:પરસ્ત્રીથીં દૂર રહેજે અને તેના ઘરના બારણાં પાસે જતો નહિ.

9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:રખેને તું તારી સંપતિ ખોઇ બેસે અને તારું જીવન નિર્દય ઘાતકી માણસોના હાથમાં જાય.

10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;રખેને તારી શકિત પારકાને મળે અને તારી મહેનતના ફળ બીજાના કુટુંબને મળે.

11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,તું અંત સમયે આક્રંદ કરીશ જ્યારે તારું હાડમાંસ અને શ રીરનો વિનાશ થઇ જશે.

12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;અને તું કહીશ કે, “મેં કેમ શિક્ષણને ધિક્કાર્યું અને મારા અંત:કરણના ઠપકાને તુચ્છ ગણ્યો!

13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!શા માટે મેં મારા ગુરૂજનોનું કહ્યું માન્યું નહિ, અને મને શિક્ષણ આપનારાઓ પ્રત્યે ધ્યાન નહોતું રાખ્યું!

14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.હું તો લોકોની દરેક અનિષ્ટ વસ્તુઓમાં સંકળાયેલો હતો.”

15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.તારા પોતાના ટાંકામાંથી અને તારા પોતાના કૂવાના ઝરણામાંથી જ પાણી પીજે.

16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.તારા પાણીના ઝરાને શરીઓમાં ઉભરાવા દઇશ નહિ.

17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.એ પાણી ફકત તારા એકલા માટે જ હો, તારી સાથેના બીજાઓ માટે નહિં.

18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.ભલે એ તારા ઝરણાઓને ઘણી સંતતિ મેળવવાના આશીર્વાદ મળે. તારી પોતાની યુવાન પત્ની સાથે તું આનંદ માન.

19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.જે હરણી જેવી સુંદર અને પર્વતીય મૃગલી જેવી જાજરમાન નારી છે તેના સ્તનોથી તું સદા સંતોષ પામ અને તેના પ્રેમમાં જ તું નિરંતર મગ્ન રહે.

20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?મારા પુત્ર, શા માટે તારે પરસ્ત્રી પર મોહિત થવું જોઇએ? શા માટે તારે પરસ્ત્રીના શરીરને આલિંગન આપવું જોઇએ?

21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.કારણ કે, માણસના પ્રત્યેક વર્તન-વ્યવહાર ઉપર યહોવાની નજર હોય છે. અને તે જે કાઇં કરે છે તેના ઉપર તે ધ્યાન રાખે છે.

22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.દુરાચારી તે તેમના પાપોમાં સપડાય છે અને તેમના પાપો તેમને દોરડાની જેમ જકડી રાખે છે.

23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.કારણકે, સંયમના અભાવે તે મરી જશે અને તેની મૂર્ખતા ને કારણે તે છકી જશે.
