Acts 21 - BBE (Gujarati)

1 And after parting from them, we put out to sea and came straight to Cos, and the day after to Rhodes, and from there to Patara:અમે બધાએ વડીલોની વિદાય લીધી અને પછી વહાણ હંકારી ગયા. અમે કોસ ટાપુ ગયા. બીજે દિવસે અમે રોદસ ટાપુ પર ગયા. રોદસથી અમે પાતરા ગયા.

2 And as there was a ship going to Phoenicia, we went in it.પાતરામાં અમને એક વહાણ મળ્યું તે ફિનીકિયા પ્રદેશમાં જતું હતું. અમે વહાણમાં બેઠા અને હંકારી ગયા.

3 And when we had come in view of Cyprus, going past it on our left, we went on to Syria, and came to land at Tyre: for there the goods which were in the ship had to be taken out.અમે સૈપ્રસ ટાપુ નજીક હંકાર્યુ. અમે તેને ઉત્તર (ટાપુ) તરફ જોયો, પણ અમે અટક્યા નહિ. અમે સિરિયાના દેશ તરફ હંકારી ગયા. અમે તૂર શહેર પાસે અટક્યા. કારણ કે ત્યાં માલવાહક વહાણ ખાલી કરવાનું હતું.

4 And meeting the disciples we were there for seven days: and they gave Paul orders through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.અમે તૂરના ઈસુના કેટલાએક શિષ્યોને જોયા, અને અમે તેઓની સાથે સાત દિવસ રહ્યા. તેઓએ પાઉલને યરૂશાલેમ નહિ જવા ચેતવણી આપી કારણ કે પવિત્ર આત્માએ તેઓને તેમ કહ્યું હતું.

5 And when these days came to an end, we went on our journey; and they all, with their wives and children, came with us on our way till we were out of the town: and after going on our knees in prayer by the sea,પણ જ્યારે અમે અમારી મુલાકાત પૂરી કરી. અમે વિદાય લીધી અને અમે અમારો પ્રવાસ ચાલુ રાખ્યો.ઈસુના બધા જ શિષ્યો, સ્ત્રીઓ અને બાળકો સાથે અમને વિદાય આપવા અમારી સાથે શહેરની બહાર આવ્યા. અમે બધા સમુદ્રકિનારે ઘૂંટણે પડ્યા અને પ્રાર્થના કરી.

6 We said our last words to one another, and got into the ship, and they went back to their houses.પછી અમે શુભેચ્છા પાઠવી અને વહાણમાં બેઠા ત્યારબાદ શિષ્યો ઘરે ગયા.

7 And journeying by ship from Tyre we came to Ptolemais; and there we had talk with the brothers and were with them for one day.અમે તૂરથી પ્રવાસ ચાલુ રાખ્યો અને તોલિમાઈના શહેરમાં ગયા. અમે ત્યાં ભાઈઓને શુભેચ્છા પાઠવી અને તેઓની સાથે એક દિવસ રહ્યા.

8 And on the day after, we went away and came to Caesarea, where we were guests in the house of Philip, the preacher, who was one of the seven.બીજે દિવસે અમે તોલિમાઇ છોડ્યું અને કૈસરિયા શહેરમાં ગયા. અમે ફિલિપના ઘરે ગયા અને તેની સાથે રહ્યા. ફિલિપની પાસે સુવાર્તા પ્રચાર કરવાનું કામ હતું. તે સાત સહાયકોમાંનો એક હતો.

9 And he had four daughters, virgins, who were prophets.તેને ચાર પુત્રીઓ હતી જે પરિણિત ન હતી. આ પુત્રીઓને પ્રબોધ કરવાનું સાર્મથ્ય હતું.

10 And while we were waiting there for some days, a certain prophet, named Agabus, came down from Judaea.અમારા ઘણા દિવસો ત્યાં રહ્યા બાદ આગાબાસ નામનો પ્રબોધક યહૂદિયાથી આવ્યો.

11 And he came to us, and took the band of Paul's clothing, and putting it round his feet and hands, said, The Holy Spirit says these words, So will the Jews do to the man who is the owner of this band, and they will give him up into the hands of the Gentiles.તે અમારી પાસે આવ્યો અને પાઉલનો કમરબંધ ઉછીનો લીધો. પછી આગાબાસે તેના પોતાના હાથ અને પગ બાંધવા માટે તે કમરબંધનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો. આગાબાસે કહ્યું, “પવિત્ર આત્મા મને કહે છે, ‘જે માણસનો આ કમરબંધ છે તેને યરૂશાલેમમાં યહૂદિઓ આવી રીતે બાંધીને બિનયહૂદિઓના હાથમાં સોંપશે.”‘

12 And hearing these things, we and those who were living in that place made request to him not to go to Jerusalem.અમે બધાએ આ શબ્દો સાંભળ્યા છે. તેથી અમે અને ઈસુના સ્થાનિક શિષ્યોએ પાઉલને યરૂશાલેમ નહિ જવા વિનંતી કરી.

13 Then Paul said, What are you doing, weeping and wounding my heart? for I am ready, not only to be a prisoner, but to be put to death at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.પણ પાઉલે કહ્યું, “તમે શા માટે રડો છો? તમે મને શા માટે આટલો દુ:ખી કરો છો? હું યરૂશાલેમમાં બંદીવાન થવા તૈયાર છું. હું પ્રભુ ઈસુના નામે મૃત્યુ પામવા માટે પણ તૈયાર છું!”

14 And as he might not be moved we did no more, saying, Let the purpose of God be done.અમે તેને યરૂશાલેમથી દૂર રહેવા માટે સમજાવી શક્યા નહિ. તેથી અમે તેને વિનંતી કરવાનું બંધ કર્યુ અને કહ્યું, “અમે પ્રાર્થના કરીએ છીએ કે પ્રભુની જે ઈચ્છા હોય તે પૂર્ણ થાઓ.”

15 And after these days we got ready and went up to Jerusalem.આ દિવસો પછી, અમે સરસામાન લઈને યરૂશાલેમ જવા નીકળ્યા.

16 And some of the disciples from Caesarea went with us, taking a certain Mnason of Cyprus, one of the early disciples, in whose house we were to be living.કૈસરિયાથી કેટલાએક ઈસુના શિષ્યો અમારી સાથે આવ્યા. આ શિષ્યો અમને મનાસોન જે જૂનો શિષ્યો સૈપ્રસનો હતો, તેને ઘરે લઈ ગયા. મનાસોન એ ઈસુના શિષ્યોમાં પ્રથમ શિષ્ય હતો. તેઓ અમને તેને ઘેર લઈ ગયો તેથી અમે તેની સાથે રહી શક્યા.

17 And when we came to Jerusalem, the brothers were pleased to see us.યરૂશાલેમમાં વિશ્વાસીઓ અમને જોઈને ઘણા પ્રસન્ન થયા.

18 And on the day after, Paul went with us to James, and all the rulers of the church were present.બીજે દિવસે, પાઉલ અમારી સાથે યાકૂબની મુલાકાતે આવ્યો. બધાજ વડીલો પણ ત્યાં હતા.

19 And when he had said how glad he was to see them, he gave them a detailed account of the things which God had done through his work among the Gentiles.પાઉલે તે બધાને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા. પછીથી તેણે તેઓને દેવે બિનયહૂદિ લોકોમાં તેમની પાસે કેવી રીતે સેવા કરાવી તે વિગતે કહ્યું. તેણે તેઓને દેવે તેઓના મારફત જે બધું કરાવ્યું હતું તે બિનયહૂદિઓમાં પણ કહ્યું.

20 And hearing it, they gave praise to God; and they said to him, You see, brother, what thousands there are among the Jews, who have the faith; and they all have a great respect for the law:જ્યારે આગેવાનોએ આ વાતો સાંભળી, તેઓએ દેવની સ્તુતિ કરી. પછી તેઓએ પાઉલને કહ્યું, “ભાઈ, તું જોઈ શકે છે કે હજારો યહૂદિઓ વિશ્વાસીઓ બન્યા છે. પણ તેઓ વિચારે છે કે મૂસાના નિયમશાસ્ત્રનું પાલન કરવું તે ઘણું અગત્યનું છે.

21 And they have had news of you, how you have been teaching all the Jews among the Gentiles to give up the law of Moses, and not to give circumcision to their children, and not to keep the old rules.આ યહૂદિઓએ તારા બોધ વિષે સાંભળ્યું છે. યહૂદિઓ જે બિનયહૂદિઓના દેશમાં રહે છે તેમને મૂસાના નિયમશાસ્ત્રનો ત્યાગ કરવાનું કહે છે. તેઓએ સાંભળ્યું છે કે તું તે યહૂદિઓને તેમનાં બાળકોને સુન્નત નહિ કરાવવા અને યહૂદિઓના રિવાજોનું પાલન ન કરવા કહે છે.

22 What then is the position? They will certainly get news that you have come.“અમારે શું કરવું? અહીંના યહૂદિ વિશ્વાસીઓ જાણશે કે તું આવ્યો છે.

23 Do this, then, which we say to you: We have four men who have taken an oath;તેથી તારે શું કરવું તે અમે કહીશું અમારા ચાર માણસોએ દેવ આગળ પ્રતિજ્ઞા કરી છે.

24 Go with these, and make yourself clean with them, and make the necessary payments for them, so that they may be free from their oath: and everyone will see that the statements made about you are not true, but that you put yourself under rule, and keep the law.આ માણસોને તારી સાથે લે અને તેઓના શુદ્ધિકરણ સમારંભમાં ભાગીદાર બન. તેમનો ખર્ચ આપ. પછી તેઓ તેમનાં માથા મૂંડાવે, આમ કર અને તે પ્રત્યેક વ્યક્તિને સાબિત કરાવશે કે તેઓએ તારા વિષે સાંભળેલી વાતો સાચી નથી. તેઓ જોશે કે તું તારા જીવનમાં મૂસાના નિયમશાસ્ત્રનું પાલન કરે છે.

25 But as to the Gentiles who have the faith, we sent a letter, giving our decision that they were to keep themselves from offerings made to false gods, and from blood, and from the flesh of animals put to death in ways against the law, and from the evil desires of the body.“અમે બિનયહૂદિ વિશ્વાસીઓને પત્ર મોકલી દીધેલ છે. પત્રમાં કહ્યું છે:‘મૂર્તિઓને અર્પણ કરેલ ભોજન ખાવું નહિ. લોહીને ચાખવું નહિ. ગૂંગળાવીને મારી નાખેલાં પશુઓને ખાવા નહિ. વ્યભિચારનું પાપ કરો નહિ.’

26 Then Paul took the men, and on the day after, making himself clean with them, he went into the Temple, giving out the statement that the days necessary for making them clean were complete, till the offering was made for every one of them.પછી પાઉલે તે ચાર માણસોને સાથે લીધા. બીજે દિવસે પાઉલે શુદ્ધિકરણ સમારંભના દિવસો ક્યારે પૂર્ણ થશે તેની જાહેરાત કરી. છેલ્લે દિવસે તેઓમાંના દરેકને માટે અર્પણ ચઢાવવામાં આવશે.

27 And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews from Asia, seeing him in the Temple, got the people together and put their hands on him,લગભગ તે સાત દિવસ પૂરા થયા. પણ કેટલાક આસિયાના યહૂદિઓએ પાઉલને મંદિરમાં જોયો. તેઓએ બધા લોકોને ઉશ્કેર્યા અને તેઓએ પાઉલને હાથ નાખીને પકડી લીધો.

28 Crying out, Men of Israel, come to our help: this is the man who is teaching all men everywhere against the people and the law and this place: and in addition, he has taken Greeks into the Temple, and made this holy place unclean.તેઓએ બૂમો પાડી, ‘અરે! ઈસ્રાએલી માણસો, અમને મદદ કરો! આ એ માણસ છે જે મૂસાના નિયમશાસ્ત્રની વિરૂદ્ધ, આપણા લોકોની વિરૂદ્ધ અને આ જગ્યાની વિરૂદ્ધ શીખવે છે. આ માણસ દરેક જગ્યાએ બધા જ લોકોને આ વાતો શીખવે છે. અને હવે તેણે કેટલાએક ગ્રીક માણસોને મંદિરની પરસાળમાં દાખલ કર્યા છે! તેણે આ પવિત્ર સ્થાનને અશુદ્ધ કર્યુ છે.”

29 For they had seen him before in the town with Trophimus of Ephesus, and had the idea that Paul had taken him with him into the Temple.(યહૂદિઓએ આમ કહ્યું, કારણ કે તેઓએ યરૂશાલેમમાં ત્રોફિમસને પાઉલ સાથે જોયો. ત્રોફિમસ એફેસસનો ગ્રીક માણસ હતો. યહૂદિઓએ વિચાર્યુ કે પાઉલે તેને મંદિરના પવિત્ર ભાગમાં લાવ્યો છે.)

30 And all the town was moved, and the people came running together and put their hands on Paul, pulling him out of the Temple: and then the doors were shut.યરૂશાલેમના બધા જ લોકોમાં ખળભળાટ મચી ગયો. તેઓ બધા દોડ્યા અને પાઉલને પકડ્યો. તેઓએ તેને મંદિરના પવિત્ર સ્થળની બહાર કાઢ્યો. મંદિરના દરવાજા તરત જ બંધ કરવામાં આવ્યા.

31 And while they were attempting to put him to death, news came to the chief captain of the band that all Jerusalem was out of control.લોકો પાઉલની હત્યા કરવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરતા હતા. યરૂશાલેમમાં રોમન સૈન્યના સૂબેદારે સાંભળ્યું કે સમગ્ર શહેરમાં મુશ્કેલી ઊભી થઈ છે.

32 And straight away he took some armed men and went quickly down to them: and the Jews, seeing them, gave no more blows to Paul.તરત જ જ્યાં લોકો હતા ત્યાં સૂબેદાર ગયો. તે કેટલાએક લશ્કરી અમલદારો અને સૈનિકોને સાથે લાવ્યો. લોકોએ સૂબેદાર અને સૈનિકોને જોયા. તેથી તેઓએ પાઉલને મારવાનું બંધ કર્યું.

33 Then the chief captain came near and took him, and gave orders for him to be put in chains, questioning them as to who he was and what he had done.સૂબેદારે પાઉલની પાસે જઈને તેની ધરપકડ કરી. સૂબેદારે તેના સૈનિકોને પાઉલને બે સાંકળો વડે બાંધવા કહ્યું. પછી સૂબેદારે પૂછયું, “આ માણસ કોણ છે? તેણે શું ખરાબ કર્યુ છે?”

34 And some said one thing and some another, among the people: and as he was not able to get a knowledge of the facts because of the noise, he gave orders for Paul to be taken into the army building.કેટલાએક લોકો એક વાત કહેતા હતા તો બીજા લોકો બીજી વાતો કહેતા હતા. આ બધા ગુંચવાડા અને ગડબડને કારણે સૂબેદાર સત્ય નક્કી કરી શક્યો નહિ. સૂબેદારે સૈનિકોને પાઉલને લશ્કરના મકાનમાં લઈ જવા માટે કહ્યું.

35 And when he came on to the steps, he was lifted up by the armed men, because of the force of the people;બધા જ લોકો તેઓને અનુસરતા હતા. જ્યારે સૈનિકો પગથિયાં પાસે આવ્યા, તેઓ પાઉલને રક્ષણ આપવા લઈ જવાના હતા.

36 For a great mass of people came after them, crying out, Away with him!તેઓને પાઉલનું રક્ષણ કરવા માટે કહ્યું કારણ કે લોકો તેને ઇજા પહોંચાડવાની તૈયારીમાં હતા. લોકોએ બૂમો પાડી, “તેને મારી નાખો!”

37 And when Paul was about to be taken into the building, he said to the chief captain, May I say something to you? And he said, Have you a knowledge of Greek?સૈનિકો પાઉલને લશ્કરના મકાનમાં લઈ જવાની તૈયારીમાં હતા. પરંતુ પાઉલે સૂબેદારને પૂછયું, “તમને કંઈ કહેવાનો મને અધિકાર છે?”સૂબેદારે કહ્યું, “ઓહ! તું ગ્રીક બોલે છે?”

38 Are you by chance the Egyptian who, before this, got the people worked up against the government and took four thousand men of the Assassins out into the waste land?તો પછી હું તને જે માણસ ધારતો હતો તે તું નથી. હું વિચારતો હતો કે તું મિસરનો માણસ છે જેણે ઘણા સમય પહેલા નહિ, હમણાં જ સરકારની વિરૂદ્ધમાં કેટલીક મુશ્કેલીઓ શરું કરી હતી. તે મિસરી માણસે 4,000 ખૂનીઓને દોરીને બહાર અરણ્યમાં લઈ ગયો.”

39 But Paul said, I am a Jew of Tarsus in Cilicia, which is not an unimportant town: I make a request to you to let me say a word to the people.પાઉલે કહ્યું, “ના, હું તાસર્સનો એક યહૂદિ માણસ છું.તાર્સસ કિલીકિયાના પ્રદેશમાં છે. હું તે અગત્યના શહેરનો નાગરિક છું. મહેરબાની કરીને મને લોકોને કહેવા દો.”

40 And when he let him do so, Paul, from the steps, made a sign with his hand to the people, and when they were all quiet, he said to them in the Hebrew language,સૂબેદારે પાઉલને લોકો સમક્ષ બોલવાની રજા આપી. તેથી પાઉલ પગથિયા પર ઊભો રહ્યો. તેણે તેના હાથો વડે નિશાની કરી. તેથી લોકો શાંત થઈ જાય. લોકો શાંત થઈ ગયા એટલે પાઉલે તેઓને ઉદ્દબોધન કર્યુ. તેણે હિબ્રું ભાષાનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો.
