அப்பொழுது அவன்: என் குமாரனே, நீ வேட்டையாடிக் கொண்டுவந்ததை நான் புசித்து, என் ஆத்துமா உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படி அதை என் கிட்டக் கொண்டுவா என்றான்; அவன் அதைக் கிட்டக் கொண்டுபோனான்; அப்பொழுது அவன் புசித்தான்: பிற்பாடு, திராட்சரசம் அவனுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்து கொடுத்தான், அவன் குடித்தான்.

Bring near	הַגִּ֤שָׁה	nāgaš	na-ɡAHSH

to me, and I will eat	וְאֹֽכְלָה֙	ʾākal	ah-HAHL
venison,	מִצֵּ֣יד	ṣayid	tsa-YEED
of my son's	בְּנִ֔י	bēn	bane
that	לְמַ֥עַן	maʿan	ma-AN
may bless	תְּבָֽרֶכְךָ֖	bārak	ba-RAHK
my soul	נַפְשִׁ֑י	nepeš	neh-FESH
thee. And he brought near	וַיַּגֶּשׁ	nāgaš	na-ɡAHSH
	לוֹ֙
