இப்பொழுதும் ராஜாவுக்குச் சித்தமாயிருந்தால், எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கட்ட ராஜாவாகிய கோரேஸ் கட்டளையிட்டதுண்டோ என்று பாபிலோனில் இருக்கிற ராஜாவின் கஜானாவிலே ஆராய்ந்துபார்க்கவும், இந்த விஷயத்தில் ராஜாவினுடைய சித்தம் இன்னதென்று எங்களுக்கு எழுதியனுப்பவும் உத்தரவாகவேண்டும் என்று எழுதியனுப்பினார்கள்.

இப்பொழுதும் ராஜாவுக்கு சித்தமாயிருந்தால், எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கட்ட, ராஜாவாகிய கோரேஸ் கட்டளையிட்டதுண்டோ என்று பாபிலோனில் இருக்கிற ராஜாவின் கஜானாவிலே ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்கவும், இந்த விஷயத்தில் ராஜாவினுடைய விருப்பம் என்னவென்று எங்களுக்கு எழுதியனுப்பவும், கட்டளையிடவும்வேண்டும் என்று எழுதியனுப்பினார்கள்.

இப்போது, அரசன் விரும்பினால் அரசனுடைய பழைய அதிகாரப்பூர்வமானப் பத்திரங்களைத் தேடிப்பாருங்கள். கோரேசு அரசன் எருசலேமில் தேவனுக்காக ஆலயம் கட்ட கட்டளையிட்டது உண்மை என்றால், பிறகு ஒரு கடிதத்தை எங்களுக்கு அனுப்புங்கள். அதில் இனி நாங்கள் என்ன செய்வது என்பது பற்றி குறிப்பிடுங்கள் என்று எழுதியிருந்தனர்.

ஆகவே, இப்பொழுது மன்னர் விரும்பினால், பாபிலோனில் உள்ள தமது கருவூலத்தில் தேடிப்பார்க்கட்டும். எருசலேமில் கடவுளுக்குக் கோவில் கட்டச் சைரசு மன்னர் கட்டளை கொடுத்திருக்கின்றாரா என்பதை அறியட்டும். இதைக் குறித்து மன்னர் தம் விருப்பத்தை எங்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்க வேண்டுகின்றோம்’.”

Ippoluthum raajaavukkuch siththamaayirunthaal, erusalaemilulla thaevanutaiya aalayaththaik katta raajaavaakiya koraes kattalaiyittathunntoo entu paapilonil irukkira raajaavin kajaanaavilae aaraaynthupaarkkavum, intha vishayaththil raajaavinutaiya siththam innathentu engalukku eluthiyanuppavum uththaravaakavaenndum entu eluthiyanuppinaarkal.
