அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனுடைய மகிமை கேருபீன்மேலிருந்தெழும்பி, ஆலயத்தின் வாசற்படியிலே வந்து, சணல்நூல் அங்கிதரித்து, தன் அரையிலே கணக்கனுடைய மைக்கூட்டை வைத்திருக்கிற புருஷனைக் கூப்பிட்டு,

அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரயேலின் கடவுளது மாட்சி அது தங்கியிருந்த கெருபுகளை விட்டு மேலெழுந்து இல்லத்தின் வாயிற்படிக்கு வந்தது. உடனே ஆண்டவர் நார்ப்பட்டு உடுத்தி எழுதும் மைக்கூட்டைத் தம் இடையில் வைத்திருந்த அம்மனிதரை அழைத்தார்.

was gone up נַעֲלָה֙ ʿālâ ah-LA
from מֵעַ֤ל ʿal al
the cherub, הַכְּרוּב֙ kĕrûb keh-ROOV
whereupon אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
he was, הָיָ֣ה hāyâ ha-YA
עָלָ֔יו ʿal al
to אֶ֖ל ʾēl ale
the threshold מִפְתַּ֣ן miptān meef-TAHN
of the house. הַבָּ֑יִת bayit ba-YEET
And he called וַיִּקְרָ֗א qārāʾ ka-RA
to אֶל ʾēl ale
the man הָאִישׁ֙ ʾîš eesh
clothed הַלָּבֻ֣שׁ lābaš la-VAHSH
with linen, הַבַּדִּ֔ים bad bahd
which אֲשֶׁ֛ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
inkhorn קֶ֥סֶת qeset keh-SET
the writer's הַסֹּפֵ֖ר sāpar sa-FAHR
by his side; בְּמָתְנָֽיו׃ mōten moh-TEN
