இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் முறுமுறுப்புகளைக் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன்; நீ அவர்களோடே பேசி, நீங்கள் சாயங்காலத்தில் இறைச்சியைப் புசித்து, விடியற்காலத்தில் அப்பத்தால் திர்ப்தியாகி, நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் முறுமுறுப்புகளைக் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன்; நீ அவர்களுடன் பேசி, நீங்கள் மாலையில் இறைச்சியைச் சாப்பிட்டு, அதிகாலையில் அப்பத்தால் திருப்தியாகி, நான் உங்களுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

“இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களின் முறையீட்டைக் கேட்டேன். எனவே அவர்களிடம் ‘இன்றிரவு நீங்கள் இறைச்சி உண்பீர்கள், காலையில் உங்களுக்கு வேண்டிய ரொட்டி கிடைக்கும். பிறகு உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நம்பலாம் என்று அறிவீர்கள்’ என்று சொல்லுங்கள்” என்றார்.
