பாவநிவாரணபலி எப்படியோ, குற்றநிவாரணபலியும் அப்படியே; அவ்விரண்டிற்கும் பிரமாணம் ஒன்றே: அதினாலே பாவநிவிர்த்திசெய்த ஆசாரியனை அது சேரும்.

இக்குற்ற பரிகார பலியானது பாவப் பரிகார பலியைப் போன்றதாகும். இரண்டுக்கும் ஒரேவிதமான விதிமுறைகளே உள்ளன. எனவே பலியைக் கொடுத்த ஆசாரியனே அப்பலியின் இறைச்சியைப் பெறுவான்.
