Deuteronomy 13 in Tamil

1 உங்களுக்குள்ளே ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிலும், சொப்பனக்காரனாகிலும் எழும்பி: If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

2 நீங்கள் அறியாத வேறே தேவர்களைப் பின்பற்றி, அவர்களைச் சேவிப்போம் வாருங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, உங்களுக்கு ஒரு அடையாளத்தையும் அற்புதத்தையும் காண்பிப்பேன் என்று குறிப்பாய்ச் சொன்னாலும், அவன் சொன்ன அடையாளமும் அற்புதமும் நடந்தாலும், And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

3 அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிலும், அந்தச் சொப்பனக்காரனாகிலும் சொல்லுகிறவைகளைக் கேளாதிருப்பீர்களாக; உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் நீங்கள் உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உங்கள் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் அன்புகூருகிறீர்களோ இல்லையோ என்று அறியும்படிக்கு உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களைச் சோதிக்கிறார். Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

4 நீங்கள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைப் பின்பற்றி, அவருக்குப் பயந்து, அவர் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவர் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டு, அவரைச் சேவித்து, அவரைப் பற்றிக்கொள்வீர்களாக. Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

5 அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசியும், அந்தச் சொப்பனக்காரனும் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்; நீங்கள் நடக்கும்படி உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு விதித்த வழியை விட்டு உங்களை விலக்கும்படி, அவன், உங்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினவரும் உங்களை அடிமைத்தன வீட்டிலிருந்து நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுக்கொண்டவருமான உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமான துரோகப் பேச்சைப் பேசினான்; இப்படிப்பட்ட தீமையை உங்களிடத்திலிருந்து விலக்குவீர்களாக. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

6 உன் தாய்க்குப் பிறந்த உன் சகோதரனாகிலும், உன் குமாரனாகிலும், உன் குமாரத்தியாகிலும், உன் மார்பிலுள்ள உன் மனைவியாகிலும் உன் பிராணனைப்போலிருக்கிற உன் சிநேகிதனாகிலும் உன்னை நோக்கி: நாம் போய் வேறே தேவர்களைச் சேவிப்போம் வாருங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;

7 உன்னைச் சுற்றிலும் உனக்குச் சமீபத்திலாகிலும் உனக்குத் தூரத்திலாகிலும், தேசத்தின் ஒருமுனை தொடங்கி மறுமுனைமட்டுமுள்ள எவ்விடத்திலாகிலும் இருக்கிற ஜனங்களுடைய தேவர்களில், நீயும் உன் பிதாக்களும் அறியாத அந்நிய தேவர்களைச் சேவிக்கும்படி இரகசியமாய் உன்னை ஏவிவிட்டால், Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;

8 நீ அவனுக்குச் சம்மதியாமலும், அவனுக்குச் செவிகொடாமலும், உன் கண் அவன்மேல் இரக்கங்கொள்ளாமலும், அவனைத் தப்பவிடாமலும், அவனை ஒளித்து வைக்காமலும், Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:

9 அவனைக் கொலைசெய்துபோடவேண்டும்; அவனைக் கொலைசெய்வதற்கு, முதல் உன் கையும் பின்பு சகல ஜனத்தின் கையும் அவன்மேல் இருக்கக்கடவது. But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

10 அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து உன்னைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணின உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை விட்டு விலகும்படி அவன் உன்னை ஏவினபடியினால், அவன் சாகும்படி அவன்மேல் கல்லெறியக்கடவாய். And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

11 இஸ்ரவேலர் யாவரும் அதைக் கேட்டுப் பயந்து, இனி உன் நடுவே இப்படிப்பட்ட தீமையான காரியத்தைச் செய்யாதிருப்பார்கள். And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.

12 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் குடியிருக்கும்படி கொடுக்கும் பட்டணங்கள் ஒன்றில் பேலியாளின் மக்களாகிய துஷ்டமனிதர் உன்னிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,

13 நீங்கள் அறியாத வேறே தேவர்களைச் சேவிக்கப்போவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று தங்கள் பட்டணத்தின் குடிகளை ஏவினார்கள் என்கிற செய்தியைக் கேள்விப்படும்போது, Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;

14 நீ நன்றாய் விசாரித்து, கேட்டாராய்ந்து, அப்படிப்பட்ட அருவருப்பான காரியம் உன் நடுவே நடந்தது மெய்யும் நிச்சயமும் என்று காண்பாயானால், Then shalt thou inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;

15 அந்த பட்டணத்தின் குடிகளைப் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் வெட்டி, அதையும் அதிலுள்ள யாவற்றையும் அதின் மிருக ஜீவன்களையும் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் சங்காரம்பண்ணி, Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

16 அதில் கொள்ளையிட்டதையெல்லாம் அதின் நடுவீதியிலே கூட்டி, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு என்று அந்தப் பட்டணத்தையும், அதின் கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டயாவற்றையும் முழுவதும் அக்கினியில் சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவாய்; அது இனிக் கட்டப்படாமல், நித்திய மண்மேடாயிருக்கடவது. And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.

17 சபிக்கப்பட்ட பொருளில் ஒன்றும் உன் கையில் இருக்கவேண்டாம். நான் இன்று உனக்குக் கற்பிக்கிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் நீ கைக்கொண்டு, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்யும்படி, அவர் சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுப்பாயானால், And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;

18 கர்த்தர் தமது கோபத்தின் உக்கிரத்தைவிட்டுத் திரும்பி, உனக்குத் தயைசெய்து, உனக்கு இரங்கி, அவர் உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டபடி உன்னை விருத்தியடையப்பண்ணுவார். When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.

1 Ungalukkullae oru theerkkatharisiyaakilum, soppanakkaaranaakilum elumpi: If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

2 Neengal ariyaatha vaeraே thaevarkalaip pinpatti, avarkalaich sevippom vaarungal entu solli, ungalukku oru ataiyaalaththaiyum arputhaththaiyum kaannpippaen entu kurippaaych sonnaalum, avan sonna ataiyaalamum arputhamum nadanthaalum, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

3 Anthath theerkkatharisiyaakilum, anthach soppanakkaaranaakilum sollukiravaikalaik kaelaathiruppeerkalaaka; ungal thaevanaakiya karththaridaththil neengal ungal mulu iruthayaththodum ungal mulu aaththumaavodum anpukoorukireerkalo illaiyo entu ariyumpatikku ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar ungalaich sothikkiraar. Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

4 Neengal ungal thaevanaakiya karththaraip pinpatti, avarukkup payanthu, avar karpanaikalaik kaikkonndu, avar saththaththaik kaettu, avaraich seviththu, avaraip pattikkolveerkalaaka. Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

5 Anthath theerkkatharisiyum, anthach soppanakkaaranum kolaiseyyappadakkadavan; neengal nadakkumpati ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar ungalukku vithiththa valiyai vittu ungalai vilakkumpati, avan, ungalai ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappadappannnninavarum ungalai atimaiththana veettilirunthu neengalaakki meettukkonndavarumaana ungal thaevanaakiya karththarukku virothamaana thurokap paechchaைp paesinaan; ippatippatta theemaiyai ungalidaththilirunthu vilakkuveerkalaaka. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

6 Un thaaykkup pirantha un sakotharanaakilum, un kumaaranaakilum, un kumaaraththiyaakilum, un maarpilulla un manaiviyaakilum un piraananaippolirukkira un sinaekithanaakilum unnai Nnokki: naam poy vaeraே thaevarkalaich sevippom vaarungal entu solli, If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;

7 Unnaich suttilum unakkuch sameepaththilaakilum unakkuth thooraththilaakilum, thaesaththin orumunai thodangi maraுmunaimattumulla evvidaththilaakilum irukkira janangalutaiya thaevarkalil, neeyum un pithaakkalum ariyaatha anniya thaevarkalaich sevikkumpati irakasiyamaay unnai aevivittal, Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;

8 Nee avanukkuch sammathiyaamalum, avanukkuch sevikodaamalum, un kann avanmael irakkangaொllaamalum, avanaith thappavidaamalum, avanai oliththu vaikkaamalum, Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:

9 Avanaik kolaiseythupodavaenndum; avanaik kolaiseyvatharku, muthal un kaiyum pinpu sakala janaththin kaiyum avanmael irukkakkadavathu. But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

10 Atimaiththana veedaakiya ekipthu thaesaththilirunthu unnaip purappadappannnnina un thaevanaakiya karththarai vittu vilakumpati avan unnai aevinapatiyinaal, avan saakumpati avanmael kalleriyakkadavaay. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

11 Isravaelar yaavarum athaik kaettup payanthu, ini un naduvae ippatippatta theemaiyaana kaariyaththaich seyyaathiruppaarkal. And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.

12 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar unakkuk kutiyirukkumpati kodukkum pattanangal ontil paeliyaalin makkalaakiya thushdamanithar unnidaththilirunthu purappattu, If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,

14 Nee nantay visaariththu, kaettaraaynthu, appatippatta aruvaruppaana kaariyam un naduvae nadanthathu meyyum nichchayamum entu kaannpaayaanaal, Then shalt thou inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;

15 Antha pattanaththin kutikalaip pattayakkarukkinaal vetti, athaiyum athilulla yaavattaைyum athin miruka jeevankalaiyum pattayakkarukkinaal sangaarampannnni, Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

16 Athil kollaiyittathaiyellaam athin naduveethiyilae kootti, un thaevanaakiya karththarukku entu anthap pattanaththaiyum, athin kollaiyidappattayaavattaைyum muluvathum akkiniyil sutterikkakkadavaay; athu inik kattappadaamal, niththiya mannmaedaayirukkadavathu. And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.

17 Sapikkappatta porulil ontum un kaiyil irukkavaenndaam. Naan intu unakkuk karpikkira un thaevanaakiya karththarin karpanaikalaiyellaam nee kaikkonndu, un thaevanaakiya karththarutaiya paarvaikkuch semmaiyaanathaich seyyumpati, avar saththaththirkuch sevikoduppaayaanaal, And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;

18 Karththar thamathu kopaththin ukkiraththaivittuth thirumpi, unakkuth thayaiseythu, unakku irangi, avar un pithaakkalukku aannaiyittapati unnai viruththiyataiyappannnuvaar. When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.
