আপল্লো যখন করিন্থে ছিলেন তখন পৌল সেই অঞ্চলের মধ্য দিয়ে য়েতে য়েতে ইফিষে এসে পৌঁছলেন৷ সেখানে তিনি য়োহন বাপ্তাইজকের কয়েকজন অনুগামীর দেখা পেলেন৷

সেখান থেকে তাঁরা ইফিষে পৌঁছালেন, প্রিষ্কিল্লা ও আক্কিলাকে সেখানে রেখে পৌল সমাজ-গৃহে গেলেন; আর ইহুদীদের সঙ্গে শাস্ত্র আলোচনা করতে লাগলেন৷

আন্তিয়খিয়ায় পৌল কিছু সময় থাকলেন, তারপর আন্তিয়খিয়া ছেড়ে গালাতিয়া ও ফরুগিয়া অঞ্চলের বিভিন্ন শহরে ভ্রমণ করে সেইসব স্থানের অনুগামীদের নতুন শক্তি জাগিয়ে তুললেন৷

করিন্থীয় ১ 3:4
কারণ তোমাদের মধ্যে যখন কেউ বলে, ‘আমি পৌলের লোক,’ আবার কেউ বলে, ‘আমি আপল্লোর লোক’ তখন কি তোমরা জাগতিক লোকদের মতোই ব্যবহার করছ না?
