3 ராஜா முகம் திரும்பி, இஸ்ரவேல் சபையார் எல்லாரையும் ஆசீர்வதித்தான்; இஸ்ரவேல் சபையார் எல்லாரும் நின்றார்கள். And the king turned his face, and blessed the whole congregation of Israel: and all the congregation of Israel stood.

4 அவன் சொன்னது: இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்; அவர் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதுக்குத் தம்முடைய வாக்கினால் சொன்னதை, தம்முடைய கரத்தினால் நிறைவேற்றினார். And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled that which he spake with his mouth to my father David, saying,

5 அவர் நான் என் ஜனத்தை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின நாள்முதற்கொண்டு, என் நாமம் விளங்கும்படி, ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டவேண்டுமென்று நான் இஸ்ரவேலுடைய எல்லாக்கோத்திரங்களிலுமுள்ள வேறே யாதொரு பட்டணத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளாமலும், என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் அதிபதியாயிருக்கும்படி வேறே ஒருவரைத்தெரிந்துகொள்ளாமலும், Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:

6 என் நாமம் விளங்கும் ஸ்தானமாக எருசலேமையும், என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் அதிபதியாயிருக்கத் தாவீதையும் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன் என்றார். But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.

7 இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் நாமத்திற்கு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டவேண்டும் என்கிற விருப்பம் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் மனதில் இருந்தது. Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

8 ஆனாலும் கர்த்தர் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதை நோக்கி: என் நாமத்திற்கு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டவேண்டும் என்கிற விருப்பம் உன் மனதிலே இருந்தது நல்ல காரியந்தான். But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:

9 ஆகிலும் நீ அந்த ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டமாட்டாய்; உன் கர்ப்பப்பிறப்பாகிய உன் குமாரனே என் நாமத்திற்கு அந்த ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுவான் என்றார். Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.

10 இப்போதும் கர்த்தர் சொல்லிய தமது வார்த்தையை நிறைவேற்றினார்; கர்த்தர் சொன்னபடியே, நான் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் ஸ்தானத்தில் எழும்பி, இஸ்ரவேலுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் நாமத்திற்கு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டி, The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

11 கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடனே பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையிருக்கிற பெட்டியை அதிலே வைத்தேன் என்று சொல்லி, And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, that he made with the children of Israel.

3 Raajaa mukam thirumpi, Israel Sabaiyaar ellaaraiyum aaseervathiththaan; Israel Sabaiyaar ellaarum nintarkal. And the king turned his face, and blessed the whole congregation of Israel: and all the congregation of Israel stood.

4 Avan sonnathu: isravaelin thaevanaakiya karththarukku Sthoththiram; avar en thakappanaakiya Davidkkuth thammutaiya vaakkinaal sonnathai, thammutaiya karaththinaal niraivaettinaar. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled that which he spake with his mouth to my father David, saying,

5 Avar naan en janaththai ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappadappannnnina naalmutharkonndu, en naamam vilangumpati, oru aalayaththaik kattavaenndumentu naan isravaelutaiya ellaakkoththirangalilumulla vaeraே yaathoru pattanaththaith therinthukollaamalum, en janamaakiya isravaelinmael athipathiyaayirukkumpati vaeraே oruvaraiththerinthukollaamalum, Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:

6 En naamam vilangum sthaanamaaka erusalaemaiyum, en janamaakiya isravaelinmael athipathiyaayirukkath thaaveethaiyum therinthukonntaen entar. But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.

7 Isravaelin thaevanaakiya karththarin naamaththirku aalayaththaik kattavaenndum enkira viruppam en thakappanaakiya thaaveethin manathil irunthathu. Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

8 Aanaalum Karththar en thakappanaakiya thaaveethai Nnokki: en naamaththirku aalayaththaik kattavaenndum enkira viruppam un manathilae irunthathu nalla kaariyanthaan. But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:

9 Aakilum nee antha aalayaththaik kattamaattay; un karppappirappaakiya un kumaaranae en naamaththirku antha aalayaththaik kattuvaan entar. Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.

10 Ippothum Karththar solliya thamathu vaarththaiyai niraivaettinaar; Karththar sonnapatiyae, naan en thakappanaakiya thaaveethin sthaanaththil elumpi, isravaelutaiya singaasanaththinmael utkaarnthu, isravaelin thaevanaakiya karththarin naamaththirku aalayaththaik katti, The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

11 Karththar Israel puththirarudanae pannnnina udanpatikkaiyirukkira pettiyai athilae vaiththaen entu solli, And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, that he made with the children of Israel.
