அதனாலே அவன்: என் சகோதரனே, நீர் எனக்குக் கொடுத்த இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் என்ன பட்டணங்கள்? என்றான். அவைகளுக்கு இந்நாள்மட்டும் வழங்கிவருகிறபடி காபூல் நாடு என்று பேரிட்டான்.

ஈராம், “என் சகோதரனே, நீ எத்தகைய நகரங்களைக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறாய்?” என்று கேட்டான். ஈராம் மன்னன் அதற்கு காபூல் என்று பேரிட்டான். இப்பொழுது அது அவ்வாறே அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.
