மூன்று வருஷம் சென்றபோது, சீமேயியின் வேலைக்காரர் இரண்டுபேர் மாக்காவின் குமாரனாகிய ஆகீஸ் என்னும் காத்தின் ராஜாவினிடத்துக்கு ஓடிப்போனார்கள்; உன் வேலைக்காரர் காத் ஊரில் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்று சீமேயிக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள்.

ஆனால் மூன்று ஆண்டுகள் கழிந்ததும், அவனது இரண்டு அடிமைகள் அவனைவிட்டு ஓடிப் போனார்கள். அவர்கள் காத் நகர அரசனான மாக்காவின் மகனான ஆகீஸிடம் ஓடிச் சென்றனர். சீமேயிக்கு தனது அடிமைகள் காத் நகரில் இருப்பது தெரியவந்தது.

அவ்வாறே, சிமயி நெடுநாள் எருசலேமில் குடியிருந்தான். மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின் சிமயியின் அடிமைகளில் இருவர் காத்தின் மன்னனாகிய மாக்கா மகன் ஆக்கிசிடம் ஓடிவிட்டனர். அந்த அடிமைகள் காத்தில் இருப்பதாகச் சிமயி கேள்விப்பட்டான்.
